*Christine entered shyly, knowing she had a part but hoping she wouldn't be looked at as having slept her way into it.*

"Sure!" Ed ran over to the stage, a little manic, and dashed back with a script. He handed it to Vincent, a little breathless from excitement if not exertion.
He noted Christine's entrance and waved happily at her, motioning for her to come over.
"Mr. Price, I want to introduce you and Miss Dahl to Miss Christine Daae, sterling young ingenue."

*Vincent had followed him over to where the script was to be, but turned back to the woman, offering his hand.*
"How do you do?"

Mary turned at the sound of someone coming in, and smiled at the young woman, running a hand through her hair just to make sure it looked alright.
"Well, hello, there. I'm so glad to meet you; I'm sure it'll be a pleasure working with you, and we'll have a great picture."

*She was a bit...smaller than Christine had expected, but who was she to judge?*
"Edward's told me so much about you! I'm very excited about this picture."

Mary noticed that, whatever reaction Christine might have to her physically, she didn't show it. She liked that.
"Oh, really?" she asked, a bit flattered. "Well, I just know it'll be great, with this team," she added, waving a hand around to indicate everyone in the room generally. "So, then."

*Vincent's head was still swimming with all that had happened in so brief a time.*
"I look forward to getting to know it better..." *He started to flip through the script. It seemed a little disjointed, but that was probably just because he was trying to read it with so many distractions.*

Mary had written the script over a period of years, yes, but she'd managed to get it down into a cohesive form, at least, and she was sure Ed's recent edits hadn't changed it too drastically. "Right. Right, we should all get familiar..."
She glanced around. "Anyone else coming...?"

Having seen someone entering here, Miss Kitty assumed that this was the place for the auditions she had heard about; stepping in at the back of the theater she glanced around at the small group.
"Hullo there. Do you happen to have any openings in this 'film'?" she asked the group in general, not sure who was in charge but trying to look good enough to impress all of them.

*Vincent looked up in relative surprise to see...the assumed actress before them. He addressed Mary's question.*
"So it would seem." *He nodded respectfully to the newcomer before glancing between Ed and Mary. It really was their show after all.*

Edward looked up, beaming at the gorgeous creature that had just entered.
"There's always a part," he said. "I'm Edward D. Wood Jr, the director. And you, miss?"

Kitty nodded back to Mr Price, but seeing his reaction, turned to the other fellow, who seemed to be in charge, and smiled ,seeing his reaction already.
"How do you do, Mr Wood? I'm Felicia Matthews, but please, just call me Kitty." She curtsied deeply.

"Call me Ed!" Edward said. "Well, we'll get started in just a minute. Why don't you sit tight, and then we'll see what you can do?"
He'd need to write more girls in. Well, that would work. There were always handmaidens and things.

"Okay, then, Ed," she replied warmly, pleased at such a pleasant response from the director; her stage manager back at home was pretty tempermental.
She chose a seat in the front row, leaning back and looking up at the stage. It really didn't matter what part she got, she just wanted to act in general.

Mary had not been paying attention for a moment; now she looked over, and smiled at the actress who had entered, although she wondered just how many beautiful women were going to show up...were they going to upstage her? Well, she did have the lead role.
"Good to have you on board," she informed her, with a polite nod.
