As Treszka bustled about, cleaning up the cottage in preparation for her guests, she was fueled by nervous energy as she tried not to let her insecurities slow her down. She was terrified to have guests over, as she hadn't had any in any great number before. The most people that she'd ever had at her cottage had been...two? Hardly a crowd. But Marie plus her family was going to equal more people around than she was used to.
That fact just made her even more upset, as in her mind, it was further proof that she'd become extremely pathetic.
Finishing up cleaning the house with a sigh, she went to clean herself up and get the food ready and start setting up the dining room table--which had never been used for it's intended purpose, at least not the entire time she'd lived here. Once done, just sat down on her couch, nervously twiddling her fingers and waiting for her guests.

They had decided to go by motor car.
Marie had gotten used to them while in London, but her father, who'd only ridden in one twice, it seemed was still a bit nervous. She giggled a little an smoothed back the hair on her sisters forehead, who of which had fallen asleep on her lap although it wasn't that long of a ride.
She wasn't sure if her father had realized what Treszka was, but she figured he'd know soon enough. He had a way of figuring things out about people, with or without his gloves on.
She looked up at her father and Laszlo and grinned.

John had promised to control his nervousness about riding in the automobile, but was having a hard time hiding it. He was glad his family was with him or he might have had a much worse reaction.
Holding Laszlo's hand he smiled right back at his daughter, tightening up only as the car stopped.

László glanced out the window, trying to see the cottage better.
"Wonder why she lives way out here. It's so far away from everything." He said as they came to a stop.

Hearing the car outside, Treszka jumped to her feet, almost knocking a glass off the coffee table. She scowled as she hurried the glass into the kitchen--why'd she leave that there?
Heaving a sigh, she rushed back to the door. Trivial details, she told herself. Stop freaking out over those. She took several deep breaths.
C'mon, you can do this. You're not a hermit, you talk to people, and these are people.
Except they weren't just any people. These were her new friends' family, and she afraid of botching this.

"The cottage was in her family, she inherited it" Marie said edging Hazel awake "come on sleepy head were here."

Rubbing her eyes Hazel lifted herself up in the seat and looked around "Wow it's pretty out here."

"Sure is" John said happily as they started piling out of the car, the girls first, then Laszlo then himself.
He tipped the driver and followed Marie as she headed off toward the cottage.

When Marie got to the door, she knocked hard, a big grin on her face.

He hung back a bit by John, not wanting to crowd the front stoop. It was a small, quaint little cottage, the type you always imagine you'd found out in the countryside, like a painting come to life.

She practically jumped out of her skin when the knock came, but she quickly pulled herself together and answered, pasting a huge smile on her face that felt off to her.
"Hello, Marie! Everyone! Come in!"

Marie grabbed her new friend in a big hug and left her arm around her shoulder as they walked in the house. Once they were all in she turned to her family "Treszka, I know you all ready met them but I probably never told you their names, this is my Papa John, Papa's partner Laszlo and my little sister Hazel."
She looked at her family with a grin, it was the first time she noticed how not normal they may have seemed. But Marie, being Marie, she didn't care in the least "Family, Treszka!"

"Well it's a delight to officially meet you dear, a door step conversation wasn't quite enough."

Hazel clung to her fathers side and waved shyly.

László waved, hanging back a bit. He could tell from Treszka's expression that she was feeling a bit overwhelmed, and didn't want to crowd her.
"And thanks again, for everything."
