Treszka hugged Marie almost fiercely, as though she needed the reassurance, and smiled at everyone, offering John a hand to shake.
"Come inside, everything's all set, and yeah, now we can actually meet," she said with a nervous laugh. "I'm Treszka von Wittelsbach."

John smiled "And its a pleasure."

After they shook hands Marie looked back and forth between them and smiled.
She was beyond giddy.

Treszka led the way into the dining room, the smell of dinner reaching her before she even got there. It was a big table, and one that had never had more than two people sitting at it before. It would be nice to almost fill it up for once.
"So! Pick any seat. There's no reservations," she joked.

The cottage was perfect. It was actually a bit like the kind of place that László, in one of the few moments when he'd allowed himself to daydream, had imagined he'd have. Nothing huge and fancy, just nice, cozy little place tucked off in a corner somewhere.
He grabbed the nearest chair and sat down, pulling John after him. László was not exactly hesitant when it came to food.

"It smells absolutely divine" John said inhaling, he'd purposely eaten very little that morning in order to be able to eat more for dinner. Even if it wasn't something he enjoyed, his stomach aching would cause him to be polite.

Hazel hopped down on the other side of the table.
She really liked the cottage and couldn't help but look at everything all at once, causing her head to spin around a lot.

Marie sat up close to the end of the table where she was sure Treska would sit, but then stood up "Need help in the kitchen?"

"Oh, no, I'm great," she said with a smile. "I got everything onto the table. We're lucky I've got a table big enough, heh."
She sat down at the head chair, next to Treszka.
"Don't wait! Serve yourself!"
Her choices were...eclectic. It was mostly American, as that's what she grew up with, but here and there among those dishes was something distinctly German.

The smattering of German dishes, like the Hungarian he'd had at the celebration party, reminded him of home, though not quite as much. László couldn't quite stop from smiling at that--he'd learned that there were a decent number of Germans in Paris after living here as long as he had.

John filled his plate, leaving just a little room between each of the sides on his plate.

Marie sat down and smiled "It all looks so good, all I've eaten at school has been English food" she said with a chuckle "s'hard being English and not liking English food."

Hazel giggled and sat up on her knee's and started pulling some sweet smelling meat to her plate.

Treszka grinned.
"Yeah, I can't imagine. Mom always made whatever and it was always great, so I figured I'd make some of the stuff she did."

Marie took a big bite of potatoes and made a yummy sound before swallowing "So good, makes me miss Papa's cooking" she looked over a little playfully "just a little."
