"Everyone has their dark side" she smiled "sometimes we do things we regret later, it's just our nature."
She yawned "You have to do what you do to survive, I understand."

He thought of that incident with Alain and had to force down a shudder.
"Well, in any case, I think I've kept you from home long enough."

"You know, it wouldn't be bad if you got bored and wanted someone to talk to" she smiled and took out a small piece of paper and a pen and began writing "I spend most of my time at school in London, but I have a phone in my room" she handed him the paper with a smile "I don't really have too many people to talk to."

He glanced down at the paper before pocketing it and meeting her eyes again.
"Oh, don't I know it. But you stay in London? Did you know Louis is there right now?"

"I did not" she smiled "maybe I'll run in to him."

She nodded "Good night Alex."
With a bound she headed back to the shelter and the hopes that she'd made a new friend.

It'd been a long time since he'd been on friendly terms with a human. Not because he hadn't wanted the company, it was just hard to maintain the relationship when you had keep a very important aspect of yourself secret. If you did tell, they either didn't believe it or got very, very strange about it. Marie was a wonderful change of pace--she knew about things like him before ever meeting him, so there was no need for secrecy or her having to adapt to the idea of vampires existing. It would be nice to have a non-vampire friend for once. He left the shelter with a smile, fully intending to find her and Louis when he traveled to London .
