"I'd love to watch it one day" just the words, watch it, were hard to say.

John looked up at the girls and wiped his mouth "TV?"

László was grinning a bit too widely. He didn't often get to be the one in the know about things.
"Remember movies, John? It's like that, but at home."

"And anyone can have tv because anyone can get cable. Uh...what that means is the tv by itself isn't enough."

John nodded "Right, I'm sorry, I must seem a little ridiculous to you Treszka, I'm, we'll we're from the part of Paris that hasn't quite left the early 1900's, I'm sure my daughter has told you all about it."

"A bit" she tilted her head to the side with a smirk "but she knows how Paris is."

Treszka laughed.
"You don't have to tell me about Paris--I was born and raised here. Sometimes I think I'm one of the few natives."

"There are a few of us left" he smiled "I remember when the only news you heard was about odd goings on at the opera house."

"Oh yeaaa?" Marie grinned "Did she tell you how he stalked the shadows and forced his music on the poor men who owned it? And when they did not comply-"

Knowing things about the Phantom as he was in the future, László was trying very hard to keep a straight face. He still found it hard to believe that, at least in this world, that the Phantom had been a real person.

Seeing László's face, Treszka grinned. She mouthed lyrics from the musical to him and watched as he tried not to laugh.
"Oh, yeah, I remember. But that was when I was a kid. I think he's long gone now."
