"Perfect honestly, school is everything I always dreamed it would be and I'm making so many friends." "Glad to hear that. We've had one hell of a streak of good luck lately, and it's great that it goes for all of us."

She smiled "I hear you and Papa are going to go on a vacation soon, he didn't really mention to where."

He had no idea what he was doing here, or what he would even say, or what Treszka would say. Somehow he'd managed to walk up to the door and knock in spite of his trepidations. "Hello, Treszka." For a moment, all thoughts fled and the only thing she could think of was the first time she'd ever seen him, blundering across him by accident in the hedge maze. "I--" Glancing behind her, she ducked outside, closing the door.

She smiled "I hear you and Papa are going to go on a vacation soon, he didn't really mention to where." Oh, yes. The vacation. The one he secretly wanted to spend a part of in his hometown, in spite of how he felt about the place. "Ah...yes. Was thinking of London. I've never been to England before."

"He always wants to go to London, it's still home in his mind. You guy's should go to Ireland or Scotland, somewhere green and quiet."

László hesitated a moment.
"I...actually want to see home again. Dracheheim, I mean."

"Did you tell him that? Cause he'd take you there in an instant."

He fidgeted a bit.
"Well...no. There's so many other place to go in the world, why turn around and head back home?"

Marie squinted a bit as Laszlo's aura completely changed, he was absolutely nervous and it seemed the mere mention of home caused him anxiety.
She was young, but she understood quite well what types of things could cause a person to feel this way.
"I know I'm just a kid, but if you ever need a soundin board, that maybe isn't Papa. I can listen really well."

Caught by surprise, he stared for a moment before snapping out of it.
"Ah! Well, thank you. I just...home's not an easy thing to bring up, and there's...baggage there. I don't want to have us go there on a vacation and then have that baggage ruin everything."

"She's out like a light."
John adjusted his glove, sat down and placed his arm around Laszlo's shoulders.

László almost jumped at John's voice, then quickly settled down.
"So, we were talking about where we're going to go on vacation." He said. "But I don't think it was completely decided yet."

"We've got the whole world at our finger tips, you just point in the direction you want to go and that's where we'll go."
John knew he could be a little over dramatic at times, but it just seemed to fit with his personality.

Marie silently urged Laszlo on.
If living and working at a homeless shelter pretty much her whole life had taught her anything, it was to take care of things when you have the chance.

"Umm...I was thinking...if maybe we can swing by my hometown?"
László wanted to cringe at how timid he sounded. But the subject of his homeland was such an odd one with him that he still wasn't sure how to feel about it.
