So, she hadn't found a way back to Paris. Mostly because she hadn't brought any money with her (but that was hardly her fault--chasing after her prey by jumping on a boat didn't give you a whole lot of room to go to the bank). She also did not have a change of clothes, a problem she easily took care of by pilfering some and adjusting them to her own sense of taste.
Eventually, taking odd mercenary jobs here and there that sent her after more werewolves as well as vampires and a selkie, she gained enough money to make her way back. Still, something kept her here, though she couldn't say what, exactly.
Currently she was stealthily making her way across the rooftops of London, stalking a very human target that could lead to a very inhuman one.
((Ezioooo...pretty please? *bats eyelashes*))

((Oh how could I say no to a face like that? Over... the internet :I))
Ezio leaped deftly across the gap between rooftops, running about as fast as he had ever run. While he rather easily hid his distress from the two strangers that had taken him in, his mind was a torrent of emotion. His strange amnesia, his sudden youth (not complaining), and waking up in his own tomb to meet a man born centuries past his death? Yeah, he wasn't exactly a paragon of calmness right now.
But the cool wind rushing past his face, cooled his sweat just as it cooled his thoughts. Soon Ezio slowed down to a walk as he watched the people below him. Warning bells rang in his mind, telling him he wasn't alone and almost like instinct he started to use his gift, his eyes glowing yellow in the dark as he searched out his late night guest.
((Also sorry this reply is so long coming, school and all n_n"))

((No problem! I gets to interact with Ezio. It's all good.))
There was a prickling on the back of her neck. Someone or something else...?
She whirled around, bringing her gun up to bear.
"Who's there?"

Ezio stepped out in the clear where she could see him, eyes blazing and white cloak practically glowing in the moonlight. He squinted for a second, then smiled. A friend, or at least not an enemy.
Instead of responding, he let his gift fade as he looked around pointedly, "It's rare to see another up here that is neither a guard or thief."

Michelle slowly lowered the gun, though she didn't put it away. He wasn't the one she'd been chasing. In point of fact, she'd never seen anyone like this man before.
"You're right. I'm neither of those."
Her gaze swept over him.
"Are you?"

Ezio took a short step closer and smiled as he spread his arms wide, letting this woman take a good long look at him. He answered shortly, "No."

With a sigh, she holstered the gun, eyeing his mode of dress for a moment.
"I like your sense of fashion." She said with a half-smile.

Ezio laughed and pulled a bit on his tunic, looking down at his outfit. He figured she might be commenting on the many, many sharp pointy objects attached to his person but he quipped anyway, "It serves it's purpose well enough, though all the belts make it difficult to remove in a hurry."

"That's why I wear what I do. I don't want to be restricted when I'm following a target, you know?"
She was well aware of how spare her own attire was, and the kinds of looks it garnered from the 19th century folk. She was used to it by now, though, and thought little of it.

Ezio smirked in a way that suggested that wasn't quite what he meant, but close enough. He had noticed her sparse attire, but chose not to question it. Jess had worn pants after all, which were nothing on this girls pants, so he figured there wasn't much he shouldn't expect.
"At the same time they must be good for running and climbing, while defensive enough to protect you from attacks." He looked pointedly at her lack of cover.

"I've learned that so, so many times.
So what brings you to the rooftops?"
Likely he was up to something similar, though at least he wasn't hostile. She was getting a bit tired of dealing with nothing but hostile.

Ezio moved to stand next to her, looking slightly over the edge of the roof, "I was seeing if I could escape my problems if I ran fast enough."
He sighed dramatically, "It doesn't seem to be working."

She faintly smirked.
"I tried that. They kept catching up to me."

Ezio laughed deeply, "For me it seems more that the more I outrun, the more I run into."

She nodded.
"I can understand that. I get the same problem. Though I'll be honest, sometimes I'm looking for trouble."
