Edie flushed deeply "Oh" and looked down, quickly finishing her work. His wounds would all heal perfectly in time but as it was, his side would be sore for a few days and he'd find that if he ran too hard he'd become short of breath, but the affects of all of this would be quite twmporary, and he'd be back to his old self in no time.
She told him all of this while staring and her hands.

Amras sat back and wrapped the bloody rag away.
When the young elf spoke, he frowned.

"It looks like we have a lot to discuss." Amala said, straightening.
"But I think we should do that elsewhere. There's...something...in the air here. I have a feeling these monsters will be seen again."

"Trust me, I'll know if they're coming." No darkspawn, no Grey Wardens, so... "I'm... I've been specially trained. I'm part of a force specifically formed to fight them, and I can sense them in advance. But if it would make you feel better to move, we'll pack up." They hadn't fully unpacked as it was, so it wouldn't be much work.
She turned to Zevran. "And you. If you ever scare me like that again, I'm leaving you daggerless on the trail for the Crows to find," she threatened blandly. "In all seriousness, please don't seduce the people who saved you." In hindsight, she'd realized party fraternization in general was a terrible idea, because it could potentially make things awkward, thus endangering the group as a unit.
The irony was not lost on her.
She turned back to Amala, who appeared to be the leader. "We'll need a moment to pack up, but I barely had his bedroll out. It won't be long, and then you can lead the way. I expect you know these woods better than we do."
She ambled over to Edie and Amras, making a stern face at Zevran before she addressed them. "Truly, I cannot thank you enough. Your healing magic is impressive," she told the girl. "Can he be moved?"

Edie who was still blushing looked up at Ailwen and took a deep breath "It'll be a few days before he should do anything... strenuous, but he'll be okay to move, we have a horse with us."

During the conversation, Maya had been concentrating on the woods around them, in a manner that one would recognize only if they were a fellow mage themselves: she was looking at the energies in the air. The longer she looked, the more concerned her expression became.
"Yes...I think it's best we leave. I think there's something else around here that's dangerous, something not even darkspawn."
What little had been unpacked she helped put away, keeping a wary eye out.

Amala nodded, in turn correctly guessing that Ailwen was the leader of her group. She picked up her backpack and slung it over her shoulder.
"Then I'm glad to've met you. It's always good to find someone who knows how to fight a new threat."
Her tone was grave--they had barely left Lorien and already they were encountering strangeness. Lessons about the demon war that had once been fought danced through her head.
"Unfortunately, this land is no stranger to dark tidings."

By the time Edie had finished talking Zevran was already on his feet, a bit wobbly but otherwise looking fine. He was of course still quite sore, but Zev was good about ignoring it. You could never be a Crow if you could not withstand this small amount of pain.
"My dear Ailwen, you wound me! I was not trying to seduce, I was simply stating a fact. Me nearly dying is how I met you after all," his smile then turned melancholy as he thought, 'Don't scare you like that again? Don't make me promise something I can't keep...'
To save the nerves of the Elf who saved him Zevran grabbed the shirt he usually wore under his armor and pulled it on carefully. It was of a dark material, so it hid the bloodstain well though there was little he could do about the hole. He turned to Edie and Amras, a charming smile on his face, "I apologize, I haven't actually introduced myself yet, unconsciousness notwithstanding. I am Zevran."

She took note of what Maya said, crouching beside her to help pack up and murmuring, "I trust these people, but keep your staff ready. I still don't have a good feeling about this place."
And to Amala, she directed "has this land been Blighted before?" It might not have been Darkspawn, but anything was better than an unprepared populace. Like Ferelden's had been. And any knowledge on the place that they'd come to was useful.
As far as Zevran went, they'd had worse scares, but while she'd recovered for the most part from her situation... she was still in an odd place. And now, physically, in a foreign land. Possibly another world altogether, without a healer they knew. As a warrior, she knew very well the risks they all took, but they'd taken on much worse foes together, and to lose him now, to a paltry attack... the prospect had touched a nerve. A year ago she wouldn't have said anything of the sort.

Amras stared him down, trying his best to be civil, he wasn't sure about this elf, it could have been his demeanor or well, it was more likely Amras and his inability to be exactly what this Zevran was.
Calm, cool and collected.
"Amras Seregon, a pleasure."

"Yes. It was before I was born, but there was a great war between the peoples of this land and...demons."

Edie grinned far too enthusiastically in Zevran's direction "Edie Tomas, healer and earth mage at your service."
She was still young, unaware that the word 'service' might mean anything other than what she meant it to be.

Ailwen managed to throw her warden blues on--just the tunic, too tired for armor. Finnbarr, who had slunk out of the way to keep watch when the newcomers had arrived, had trotted back into camp and directly to his mistress, nosing at her hand and eyeing the strangers as suspiciously as a dog could. She rubbed his head reassuringly as she fastened the last of their things to their pack-horse, Nell.
She turned around, lead line in hand, when Amala mentioned demons.
"We can talk more about the demons when we make camp... I'm eager to hear." With that she turned towards Zevran, overhearing the introductions. "Zevran, there's a spot in front of the bedrolls for you," she said. She'd put a lot of it into her own pack which was now dauntingly large, especially for someone tiny.

Amras stood without waiting for a response from Zevran and made his way to the obvious leader of the group and bowed deeply "Amras Séregon, milady, can I be of any service?"

She turned to him and nodded, never sure how to respond to a bow. She preferred a good handshake, to be frank. A bow looked odd coming from a woman and a curtsey looked stupid from someone in leggings with a sword as tall as she was strapped to her back.
"Mae l'ovannen, Amras Séregon," she greeted, repeating it the way the girl had said it. "You have my thanks already for helping to heal my companion, but in order to move him comfortably I've had to clear space on the pack-horse. If you wouldn't mind helping me carry some armor..."
She felt stupid even asking and it showed on her face. She was proud, but being only barely five feet tall didn't make carrying the pack easy. She was not weak, and she hated to ask anything that implied it. Twin spots of color appeared high on her cheeks but her expression remained resolute.
