Seeing only the situation and not the odd stares--introductions could come later--Amala swung her backpack off her back and set it down, then proceeded to rummage through it. She wasn't a healer, but she did have things like bandages and salves that Edie might be able to use. As she searched, she spoke to Ailwen.
"I'm sorry you were attacked while traveling through these lands--hopefully whatever caused you such harm has been driven off by your party."

Rolling up her sleeves she almost ran toward him.
Rushing through a list of healing spells, she began to roll them around, figuring out which ones would be most helpful in the mans situation.
This wasn't her first battle injury, when she was younger, she'd been witness to a small civil war, and helped her mother heal many of the soldiers. She yelled out a few things to Amala, a few salves she knew she had... she'd packed her bag after all.

Ailwen frowned when Edie spoke. How could someone not know what Darkspawn were? However, she was helping Zevran. There would be time enough for that later. Relief began to wash through her and her hand inched away from the dagger.
"For your sake, I hope you're right and this was an isolated incident. They're rare, but not impossible. We've faced a Blight before... it isn't pretty." Understatement of the Dragon Age.
She looked between the three, still unsure about basically anything other than the fact that they seemed to be willing to help. "I can't tell you how thankful I am."
Right. Names. Names were good. "I'm Ailwen Tabris."
Their response would be the final indicator--everyone in Thedas knew who she was. If they didn't... it was likely they were not in Thedas.

Amala answered as she handed Edie the items that were called for.
"I greet you. I am Amala Telemnar-Ramses."
It was interesting. Very interesting. Ailwen had the demeanor of one who had not only seen many battles, but was known for them. The other, though injured, she was certain was the same way. The only human among them was obviously a magic-user of some sort, though Amala could not guess of what kind. That one seemed a bit greener, though. Less experienced.
"I pray that these creatures are the only ones in Lorien, or else our troubles are more than I'd thought."

((Explanation of why Ailwen is speaking Sindarin here. This greeting was originally mae l'ovannen. Also, do we have horses? They get mentioned in the DA supplementary books but obviously they'd be more complicated than they're worth to animate in-game... I'm gonna vote that they have some kind of pack horse/pony to carry all their gear?))" Maelovan, Amala," Ailwen responded with respect. She was... at least partially some kind of elf, and it would do to feel out the situation. If the Elvish was the same, perhaps other things were. "It remains to be seen. However, we won't be taken by surprise again." The heady, overbearing magic had faded leaving her more able to sense the Darkspawn (or current lack thereof), and having calmed her nerves there was nothing to keep her from focusing. However, she wasn't wearing her armor and they hadn't recognized her name, leaving them no way to know she was a Grey Warden. Did they have Grey Wardens here? If they didn't know about Darkspawn...

((Don't mind. Cross-pollination of canons is our thing around here )) "mae l'ovannen," Amala corrected gently, though she smiled. "I don't recognize your accent. Where are you from?"

A change in pronunciation and an extra syllable, but recognizable. That was... odd.
"I've... never heard it said that way. I was born in the Denerim alienage, in Ferelden. Where exactly... are we?"

Amala's brow furrowed as she ran the unfamiliar names through her memory. Denerim? Ferelden? She couldn't recall hearing of them before, not from her father or from the other elves.
"I'm not familiar with those places...but maybe they're just far away from here? Ah, here being the Kingdom of Lorien."

"... oh, Maker." She knew the maps. There was nowhere in Thedas called Lorien, especially not an entire kingdom. Even if this was some far, unexplored corner of Thedas... there was no reason for them to be here. They were in the wrong place entirely, with no explanation and she suspected magic. Old magic.
"It's as I thought. We are... suffice it to say, we're from far away. There's no such place as Lorien. At least, not where we're from. A world called Thedas."
There were stories of worlds besides their own, but she had never given them much credence. However, if the Fade could exist right alongside their world, it was possible. She believed in fact, in physical evidence, and their current situation certainly counted in that vein.
"You are welcome to share our fire and what food we have, in thanks for your help. There's a stream nearby and the position is defensible."

Amras who'd been standing nearby frowned deeply, but stayed quiet.
His mind was ablaze with the new information.
Thedas, Denerim, Alienage, Darkspawn, Ferelden... Blight.
All new words, with new meanings, from a world he'd never heard of. It concerned him more than he could truly explain, these words as well as these people. They all had an aura about them, one that screamed of battle, of hardship, yet, of fortune and gratitude. He truly had never met such a group, and he'd traveled more lands in his few years than any man could say in his lifetime.
Nodding to Amala he made his was to Edie's side, who was well at work cleaning the young Elf's wounds.
"Can I be of service?"

"Hold this" she said, thrusting a bloody rag in to Amras's hand, while her free hand glowed softly with what looked to be a green light." Calmly she reached in to Zevran's wound with a few fingers, causing his skin to glow underneath.
Listening carefully she could hear his heart began beating normally, and hole in his lung slowly began to close, allowing normal breathing to begin.

Amala's eyes widened as what Ailwen said sank in.
"Another world...I believe that. Lorien...well. Lorien connects to another world aside from yours--I just never suspected it would connect to others. I wonder what it could mean..."

"Other worlds." Maya said wonderingly.
"That's amazing."
It was quite clear, just from looking at her, that the mage was excited at the idea.
"The very thought...!"

Zevran took in one deep breath as the wound closed and the blood drained from his lung. He groaned low as he dragged himself back from the comfort of unconsciousness to see who it was that had their fingers in his side. He turned his head to the side, shielding his eyes from the light as the blurriness faded. At first, not recognizing the people around him he tried to push himself away, his finger's clutching into the bedding beneath him. He didn't get far, and quite frankly didn't mind as he spotted the cute blond elf healing him. The tension bled from his body and he started laughing in a tired raspy voice.
When he spoke his voice was especially deep because of his exhaustion, and his accent was twice as thick, "Heheh, there must be better ways to meet beautiful women other than dieing."

Ailwen turned to Maya. "Well you know about the Fade... it's not too big a leap. Though this is... a lot less frightening than the Fade. And I think a little more like our world just... a different one." She was still sorting it all out in her head, but she believed they could trust these people. She had a good instinct for that sort of thing--a primary example being her friendship with Zevran.
She took a few steps towards the bedroll when Zevran awoke, knowing it might panic him but... well. There was Zevran for you. She relaxed visibly, untensing, breathing out, and rolled her eyes.
