Michelle had finally arrived. She'd spent most of the voyage on pins and needles, wondering what kind of havoc the werewolf was wreaking on the ship it'd stowed away on--or worse, what it would do once it arrived at London first. If she didn't catch it fast enough, it would simply disappear into the vast city and would be nigh-impossible to track. That meant either giving up and returning to Paris to continue her work there, and using up her time to once more follow the Alpha's trail and corner it. The decision was made for her when she arrived to discover that, yes, the Alpha had gotten here fast enough that Michelle would have to start her tracking routine all over again--and this time, it would be in a city that she was wholly unfamiliar with. It took her a few moments to finally decide on a plan: she would give herself a month, and if in that time she had not found the Alpha, then she would trust that London had hunters of it's own and leave it to them while she returned to Paris. New course charted, she headed off into the streets of London .

**NEW DAY**
The night was foggy and dark and although he could see just fine, he could tell those around him were finding it hard to move without crashing in to one another.
It reminded Louis of a novella he once read, wrought with stereotypes about London, he was coming to find were all very true.
Hitching up his coat he started his way in to the city.

((I hope you don't mind. I've been missing Michelle something terrible and I couldn't think of anyone else to throw at Louis' lonely post. xD))
As Michelle scouted the crowded area, standing back and looking for all the world like dock security (albeit strangely dressed), she wryly thought of how she'd been leaving her homeworld to escape being a mercenary, and had wound up instead into a life similar to her old one. True, she hunted monsters now, not people, but things weren't all that different. Well, unless you counted the fact that she had to use UV, silver, wooden or even garlic-laced bullets. She even had a shotgun now, thanks to a recent run-in with zombies.
Her attention snapped to the pale man making his way past--his paleness wasn't from normal skin tone, she could see. It was an unnatural type. She didn't move from her spot, only her eyes followed, but she was now on alert. Had he come in on the boat? As if London needed more of this sort of thing.

((I don't mind! I wish I'd seen this sooner )) Louis didn't seem to react as he passed the oddly dressed woman. She'd taken notice of him and he was sure that she was in fact not one of his own. As he passed he kept his ears tuned to where she'd been, if she planned on following he'd hear her.

She waited the appropriate amount of time, and then quietly slipped into the crowd to follow him. She didn't what type he was yet, and planned on observing him a bit before she came up with a plan to deal with him. Different types made hunting them rather interesting, she'd found.

Louis rolled his eyes.
He'd only just got there and already it was something. He hitched up his coat, as if he was actually cold, and quickly made his way toward a less crowded area.
He was curious of the mortal.

More isolated location. Was he onto her? She couldn't tell from just staring at his back, and thus far his body language had been neutral. Hmm.
She moved with more caution, even more aware now of the twin handguns she had strapped to her thighs.

As they passed a long series of alley ways Louis casually walked down a dark one and stood there with his back to the entrance.
He knew that his behavior was not one of interest and most likely put the woman on edge.
When he felt her approach he smiled "You have no reason to fear me."

The tension did not let up.
"I don't fear the likes of you. I mostly don't like vampires."

He turned with a pale smile "You're in luck, neither do I."

Her hands hovered over her gun holsters, fingers lightly brushing the weapon grips. Speed speed speed...
"Vampires are loners in any case. It's nothing strange."

Louis had to laugh a little "How many of my kind have you met? The one's I know more than enjoy the company of others" he thought of Johannes, Lestat, and Alex "In fact, I am the only one I know that prefers solitude."
That was a lie, he longed for the company of others.

"I've obviously met more than you have."
She drew both guns, one aiming at his heart and the other at his head.
"Now, as cliche as this question is, do you have any last words?"

The light from the streetlamps were enough to illuminate the alleyway, so Michelle could easily see Louis face as it grew intensely solemn. A memory of the time, where he incited fights and cheated at card games just to hope that the man he was against would draw a gun or a blade on him and end his misery, all came flooding back like a dam had just broke.
He opened his jacket to give her a better view of his chest "For years I longed for death, wishing only to end my mortal suffering, I prayed for someone such as yourself to destroy me. However, when that person had come they gave me a choice and I, in my cowardice, chose life. Little did I know what that new life would entail. I am sure now that no matter what I said the man who made me this would have chosen it for me. "I have taken no lives since that day""
He leaned his head back "Don't miss."

Michelle blinked at him a moment, not quite believing what she was hearing. Was he serious?
"You know, usually they tell me I'm a fool for trying and do their best to kill me when I do this."
