((Did I not write tenor...? No, no I didn't. FIXED))
"You won't have a problem with that, trust me. The people around here are dying for something new, the opera is dying" she sighed.

"What? No, it's not. Uh, well, back home it was very lively...and I saw rehearsals going on here in Paris. How could that be?"
Such a pronouncement from Isa was both an alarming and saddening one, considering his interests.

"There hasn't been a real play since Beetart or was it Mozhoven, I don't know, and that was almost two years ago. There have been a few, but nothing that lasted more than a night. No one wants to come here, not even the phantom writes letters anymore."

"Phantom?"
He started to laugh, realized where he was, and wound up choking on the laughter.
"I shouldn't be surprised by anything anymore. Although that's funny, since the Opernhaus back home had a phantom story, too."
He sighed.
"But hearing all that breaks my heart."

"Well the phantom here I'm afraid is much less of a story then a righteous fear" she chuckled "I believe he may be getting old, but the less he's about, the less this place runs. The managers they, well they sit inside their damned offices all day cowering fear over what's most likely and aging awkward genius with a penchant for murdering people."

"I wonder how things were back home...how terrified anyone was..." He mused aloud.
"Ah, anyway, now I'm a bit sad about missing the heyday here."

"It'll be back, I'm sure, someone will come up with a genius play and then the whole world will turn it's eyes back to the Paris Opera" she closed her eyes with a smile.

"If not, we could send you after Mozart and Beethoven to finish their opera. I bet they'd do it if you threatened to kick their asses." He said with a grin.

She laughed, blushing a bit, although she knew he was probably right "You know I think it's finished, they're just being lazy and not casting or getting any backers or well, anything."

"Well, that's just stupid," he said, shaking his head.
"Or lazy, either one."
((I love how this is like the third time two of our characters have gossiped about these two. XD Mozathoven!))

((We need to get them to a party man.))
"Both" she laughed "they are both lecherous, lude, rude and horrible men. It's really a shame they're such genius's, their talent is almost wasted."

((LOL. Or kick them off their lazy asses.))
"What's that saying about genius? How it often goes with crazy?"

((Most totally))
"That would fit them."

"Still..." he said, his gaze turning distant.
"What I wouldn't give to actually be able to meet them--especially Mozart. He wrote one of my favorite operas."

Isa raised his eyebrow "You know they're here all the time."
