"Or a bit of both, for variety."

"That sounds quite reasonable." Yager nodded. "Perhaps you can even sneak up on me when I least expect it every now and then."

The corner of his mouth twitched in amusement.
"Perhaps I could...ah, here we are."
He turned to the right, heading right up to a set of large double doors and throwing them open. And beyond was the library, vast enough that it could be a building all on it's own.

"Whoa..."
This appeared to be the appropriate response to.... well, this.
"I didn't even know so many books existed!"
Yager stared around the library in clear awe. The count was apparently a very serious collector indeed.

Krolock was grinning, somehow managing not to look menacing even though it showed his fangs.
"Ages and ages of finding and bringing back here. Finding some of them are stories themselves."

Fangs were always rather unintimidating to Yager... even if that wasn't the intention of the owner of said fangs.
"Wow... I would certainly love to hear those."

"I once had to trace one clear across the continent, and then was accosted by another vampire." He said as he glided into the room.

"What has the world come to?" Yager tutted and shook his head.
"Vampires accosting one another... remember when you used to have people for that?"

"Ah, well," he said with a dismissive flip of his hand.
"He was under the mistaken impressive that I was stealing it."

"Was it such a special book?"
Yager couldn't imagine someone truly bothering to steal a book.

"A one of a kind edition, I learned. So his motivation is understandable, even if the reaction was unwelcome."

Yager nodded.
"If you say so... must be a great read."
In the meantime, the vampire hunter was rather preoccupied trying not to wander off on his own... or bump into a bookcase.

He was grinning again.
"It was that copy of Don Quixote. The only printing that had the illustrations from that particular artist."

"Now that's a book that would be worth stealing!" Yager laughed.
"How you torture me, count... here I am, torn between carefulness and wanting to see the pretty pictures!"

He laughed, that rumbling, low-chuckle of his.
"I suppose I could show you. Turn the pages myself."
