Yager got to his feet again and dusted himself off a bit.
"Somehow, my friend, I find that comforting."
Even for the vampire hunter... this had been really weird... and a slight bit of weirdness was still going on thanks to the counting count.

Buffy did not swoon as he kissed her, but she desperately wanted to. She figured it was the whole vampire thing that was keeping that part from happening. Could vampires faint?
She followed his instructions, though, perhaps a little too eagerly as she copped a feel in her, er, efforts to "hold on."

Krolock was standing with his arms cross, stance aggressive, though not aimed at Yager.
"Blasted git...this isn't the end of it, of that I can assure you."
He turned to the vampire hunter.
"No one gets away with abducting my guests."

Yager shrugged.
"What are you going to do about it? Follow them into his sparkly realm of glitter and steal her back?" He grinned, attempting to lighten the mood a bit.
Aggressive Krolock was always something to be remedied, otherwise you might just end up with a terrible mess.

Of course she was gropey...
Just being thrown out the window wasn't enough, the narrative Gods had to punish him further for his attempt to deviate from the storyline.
Still, Charming smiled and urged his horse into motion... because that was what he did.

Buffy, of course, was delighted to be bumping along behind Charming, and felt better than she had in ages. Vampirism notwithstanding, though she was getting a but hungry and was becoming rather confused by the impulses warring within her with regard to her rescuer.
