Betty had to consciously stop her hand from reaching her hair. She was both flattered by his mentioning it and slightly self-conscious.
"That..."
Oh why the hell not? She had just found out that all those nonsensical time travel episodes on the Twilight Zone actually had something legitimate behind them. She deserved to get drunk. Don did it all the time and his excuses weren't half as good as this.
"...Sounds like a good idea," she said, then finished her cocktail in one-- albeit lady-like-- gulp.

When a bottle of tequila and a shot glass was put in front of her, she carefully poured herself a shot and held it up.
