She extended her hand.
"I'm Betty."

She quickly forced herself to say something.
"So, aside from the obvious reasons, why Paris?" she asked sweetly.

He leaned back "Inspiration, I'm a musician and I heard Paris was the center of the musical world" he laughed "so far, all I've heard was opera and god save me if I ever start to write opera."

He thought about this for a moment, honestly taking in the suggestion. Why couldn't you have an opera inspired by jazz?
"A jazz opera huh? Well... why not?" He smiled "It'd be new, that's for sure."

"An essentially classical art form re-imagined in a modern light. I think it would be the best of both worlds," she said encouragingly.
