"I've had time to practice." Erik winked.

Rolling his eyes he looked down at his watch "It's getting a bit late, shall we?"

"Of course." Erik stood and went to pay their drinks first.

Charles drank down the rest of his tea and watched as Erik returned to the table.

"Alright, let's go... I can't wait to hear your opinion of the place." Maybe I won't have to re-do all of it.

"You probably will" Charles smiled as he backed out of the table and followed Erik.

"I hate it when you do that."
...
I love you.

Charles simply smiled, knowing full well that words were unnecessary for them both.
((Do they have a residence yet or do you just want to start a thread here and when the residence is made we can just have Kris move it.))

**NEW NIGHT**
George grabbed a table in the back and ordered a scotch on the rocks. The room was smokey to the ceiling and he loved every inch of it, it was the first time since he arrived in Paris that he felt like he was home.
Of course it might've been that it was an American club in Paris, but these things happen.
The singer was a gorgeous young thing with a vocal range that most girls would die for. He closed his eyes and laid back and just let the music roll over him, like a wave.

After a moment of hesitation, Betty opened the door and walked in. She couldn't remember the last time she had gone to a bar--
Oh right. October 22, 1962. The day the Cuban Missile Crisis had been publicly announced.
Betty made her way through a crowd and the hazy sweet smoke and sat down at the bar.
"How can I help you?" asked the greying bartender with a smile as he placed a cocktail napkin in front of her.
She paused as she realized she had no idea why she came in here.
"Uh... How about a... uh..."
Come on, Betty, anything. Don't embarrass yourself.
"--A bloodhound?"
"Excellent choice."
She sighed in relief as he walked away to put her drink together. Thinking it was better time than any to have a smoke, she went into her tiny purse to get a cigarette and her lighter. But, as usual, something had to be missing. It was amazing how many things could go missing in even a small bag. With a cigarette in her mouth, she searched and searched for her lighter...

George happened to open his eyes the moment the woman walked it.
He watched her move to the bar and sit down, her movements were solid, determined, but her temperament, well. He noticed her remove a cigarette from her bag, only to not have a lighter to light it.
Women.
Grabbing his drink he moved over to the bar, he sat down silently and clicked open his lighter "Need a light?"

Betty paused and looked the gentleman. She wasn't trying to be rude; she had a habit of freezing when caught off guard. But she quickly gathered her wits and leaned in, bringing her cigarette to the flame.
"Thank you," she said with a shy grin as she blew out a cloud of smoke.
She sat there suddenly feeling uncomfortable. It wasn't because she didn't find him attractive or the situation itself unbearably awkward. Being single after almost ten years would do a number on almost any girl's flirting skills.

He smiled with all the charm he could, he could tell by the way she turned her head that she was all ready at a loss for what to say. But a man like George could always find the words, it was his gift.
Almost more so than his ability to find just the right tune to go along with anything.
"Nice great to see another American here, can I say you're here on vacation?"

"Actually--"
Betty stopped herself. She couldn't tell him she hopped in her '61 Cadillac, drove down the street, seemingly blacked out and ended up in 19th century France. He'd think her insane.
"...Yes," she said with a smile. "I had spent some time here when I used to model before I moved to Italy. I rather missed it."
