*Will shook his head.*
"I know that it is hard, believe me, but to give up hope like that is to turn from God. Even Christ was tempted in the desert. The devil has many forms, but..."
*His eyes softened.*
"Please do not ask me to spend an eternity in this Limbo, knowing that your soul was damned because of me."

*María looked up at him, and her eyes softened too.*
"I know. It's just... he.... he.... makes my life very difficult. It's so hard to keep up hope sometimes."
*She blushed and sought his eyes.*
"You know I would never ask you to spend an eternity in Limbo. I don't want you to suffer."

*Will managed a weak smile.*
"I know. Besides, I seriously doubt that you had me killed just to keep me as a houseguest months later." *He jested.*

*María smiled too, looking up at him. She was happy that he was capable of jesting, in spite of everything.*
"I am fond of having guests, but I wouldn't go THAT far to have company. Even if you are a lovely houseguest to have."
*She looked shyly up at him. He was so attractive, even as a ghost.... She wondered for how long she could continue like this, with her secret crush on him.*

"Then I'm glad that's settled." *He answered with a nod.*
"I do appreciate the bottles you purchased for me. I...will just have to make due with them."

*María smiled and looked at him, her cheeks blushing.*
"I will order more of them when you need it. All you need to do, is telling me when it is time to order new ones. Will you do that for me, please?"

*Will looked a little confused.*
"Well, I figured you'd notice the difference in opacity..."
*He shrugged sheepishly.*

*María looked up at him.*
"How long does one bottle usually last? I have never seen a potion like that before..."
*She looked over at the box on the table.*
"We have five more bottles. I just want to make the next order in time."

"Ho..." *Will thought back.*
"Longer than that, for certain. Perhaps...a fortnight. Around that, methinks."

*María smiled and looked up at him.*
"Then perhaps we should order the next bottles in about two months? Will that suffice? When will you drink your next bottle, by the way?"

*Will shrugged. He'd been caught up with everything.*
"I...I hadn't given it much thought. Anytime, I suppose."

*María looked at him with a smile, then she stood up and walked over to the table. She lifted one of the bottles and looked at it.*
"I wonder what it contains. Perhaps best not to ask...."
*She looked over at Will.*
"I'll let you decide yourself when you feel ready to drink this stuff... But I heard Pierre telling the kitchen maid that he was going to roast beef tonight."

"Again?" *Will seemed almost surprised.*
"Hmm..." *He pondered.* "Something about blood, I'm nearly certain. That's what Richard said."
*He glanced back to her.*
"But if you're asking if I'd like to join you for dinner, I'd be the fool not to accept." *He managed a smile.*

*María shuddered.*
"Blood?"
*She quickly put the bottle back in the box, careful not to break it.*
"Are you certain you want to drink that stuff?"
*The concern in her voice was genuine.*
"I would love to have you join me for dinner, but not if you have to suffer to be with me."

"Eh." *Will offered a dismissive gesture.*
"I've no love for the flavor, but the rest of the package isn't so bad."
*He started looking about for the box of bottles.*
