Maleo laid himself down on his bed once he was alone, then passed out for a couple more hours before he had to be up and at rehearsal.

****NEXT NIGHT****
Having once again manipulated his way into the theater, Marlow had made use of his borrowed key (rather than using the window, which was rather small, after all) and let himself into the Sopranist's room to wait, perched on the back of the chair as he had been the night before, though this time he wore better clothes, having discarded what had been stained and torn in his last fight with Vicente.
He retained his human appearance, for now, in case someone should come in--no sense in leaving bodies around when one didn't have to, and he'd already fed enough to take the edge off his hunger so that he wouldn't accidentally drain his new child.
So he waited, dressed in a plain off-white shirt, dark trousers and a ratty longcoat, sans waistcoat and jacket.

Maleo came in almost an hour later, having had to lose a few comrades in the din in order to escape. As it was, his eyes were still laden with the dark kohl from having to make an escape from the dressing rooms with the male dancers coming in to mate (And that was the only way it could be described).
Finding his door unlocked, Maleo held the door shut a moment and smoothed down his already slick hair, loosing his jacket and shirt from his neck in preparation this time before he entered, patting at his mouth with a handkerchief to remove the garish red he had been wearing. He entered calmly, trying to push down his emotions and remain collected - at least in appearance.

Marlow dropped from the back of the chair and stood upright, his eyes already blackened by the time the singer closed the door behind himself and locked it.
"I did not listen." (not that he couldn't hear) "did you do well?"

"I suppose... there were one of these at my usual vanity when I returned..." he produced the remains of what might have been a flower, had the head not been ripped off and the stem burnt and dried over a candle. "I do not understand the custom of giving someone a useless flower," he said exhaustedly, throwing the blackened stem into his wastebasket.
"But you don't need to hear my griping." He removed his jacket while he had the opportunity to and started on the buttons of his shirt, wanting it off this time before Marlow had at his neck.

"Isn't it the custom of humans to exchange them in place of affection?" he rumbled and remained otherwise still, watching the child and discarding much of his human appearance, going the pearlecent, invigored palor he wore naturally.
"Who has affection for you?"

"They're ugly," he muttered, removing his shirt hurriedly. This small talk was going to end soon, Maleo could almost feel it - he wasn't sure why or how, but he just could.
"I don't know who - there was no note, which was equally annoying. I would've rather given them the remains in person," he said as he tossed his shirt onto the bed. His own skin was still darker than most of the home-bodied French he worked with, and his form was healthy enough to take another round of punishment from Marlow - though he looked on Marlow's paler skin with a shade of envy.

The Strigoi let out a low growl and stepped forward, commanding Maleo silently to close the space between them. When he did, the vampire stroked down the man's cheek with the backs of his fingers.
"You will become nearly as pale, eventually. Your teeth..." he trailed a claw over the man's lips "sharp, your eyes black."
Marlow leaned over him, still towering, his lips slightly slack as usual. "Do you yet hunger?"

"Not that I have noticed," he replied in resignation, shuddering again with the feeling of the clawed fingers on his still-warmer cheek. The claw on his lips made him draw in his breath, and he moved his gaze up toward the towering beast's black eyes.
"What are we waiting for?"

They took on a slight red glow and Marlow opened his jaws, sinking the rows of needle-teeth into the man's neck and shoulder and throat and part of his upper chest (teeth scraping against his collarbone).

Less prepared for, but more enamored with, the gape of the strigoi's mouth, Maleo thought he felt his arm going numb from the bite. However, that did not stop him from bracing himself with his good arm, clinging to Marlow wherever he could get a grip.
He felt his body start to weaken a little, hoping he wouldn't pass out yet. The pain was incredible, and he didn't want to miss any of it!

He drank only a few moments before pulling his teeth away, sharp tongue lapping and and closing the wounds before he turned Maleo a bit away so he could bite into the other side, using a smaller and, if possible, gentler mouth, pulling the Spaniard back until he dropped sitting onto the bed and lifted the little human up onto his lap.

Maleo groaned when he found himself bitten again, his eyelids dropping closed. He felt himself relax naturally into Marlow's lap and sat there, waiting to be released. He still had things he wanted to ask, to learn more about the Strigoi if he could, but he was also content to wait for the elder to not have his mouth full.

When he'd taken his full measure, a few minutes of slow, paused feeding, he quite suddenly shoved Maleo off of his lap and face down onto the bed, twisting the man's torso awkwardly and giving a loud, snarled call, holding the man's head down with one great hand and thrusting the claws of the other into the flesh of the singer's back, dragging downward and leaving four long, deep gashes in his hide.

Maleo felt the dizzying quiet come to a wonderful end with finding himself face down in the mattress. He struggled some, trying to find purchase when he started to suffocate (not to relieve himself, but to make it worse on his part) and gave muffled yelp when he felt the claws drag down his back.
Falling quietly against the mattress now, Maleo gasped for breath and whimpered, the pain from his torn skin making him shake terribly.
