*A sadistic grin went over Wild's beautiful face. She had to hold on tight, not to fall off. The motion pressed the front of her tender, young body closer to his back. She chuckled from laughter, with sarcasm dripping from every tone.*
"And you only know me from my best side...."

*Kirk felt her press against him and had to grin, since she couldn't see it. He was climbing the rope, straining with the exertion but enjoying every second.*
"I'd hate to see you riled."
*Figwit shushed them from above.*

*Wild had to hold even closer to him as he started climbing. She grinned sadistic.*
"Oh, you will get lots of opportunities to see me riled on this trip. Just you wait."
*When she heard Figwit shush them, she turned her face up against him. Then... suddenly she got a feeling that something was wrong, terribly wrong.*
"What is it, Figwit? Is it orcs or eagles? Or maybe mountain wolves?"

*Figwit glared down at them.*
"No. You two are just annoying."

*Wild looked up at him, with a face expression like an angel.*
"If we annoy you too much, I could sit on your back for a while...."
*Her eyes were glittering with humor.*

*Figwit frowned. Was no one serious?*
"Just keep it down," *he muttered.*

*Wild sighed and looked up at him. She was about to give him a sarcastic reply when her sharp eyes noticed a gray shadow on the ledge above Figwit. And behind that shadow, there were more gray shadows....*
"MOUNTAIN WOLVES!" *She shouted.*

*With a flash, arrows were flying through the air towards the wolves: Figwit was holding onto the rope with his legs and firing with his arms free. Almost without moving, then, he drew Excalibur.
Kirk could not use his hands, of course, and Figwit yelled down at them to stay where they were.*

*Wildfeather noticed a big, gray wolf on a ledge behind Figwit. It looked like it planned to jump down on him. Wild gritted her teeth.*
"Oh no, you don't."
*She mumbled to the wolf. She lifted her hand and directed her palm against the wolf, mumbling something in Elvish. A blue lightning flew from her hands and hit the gray wolf just in the right moment. The wolf landed unconscious in front of Figwit.*

*Figwit had gained the top of the cliff by then, and finished off another that had been wounded.*
"Thank you," *he called down to Wild, and reached to help pull them up by the rope.*

*Wild felt relief when they were finally at the top of the cliff. She sat down on the ground, careful not to stand on her sprained ankle, and smiled to Figwit.* "You're welcome." *She smiled, and started looking around the place where she sat. Behind a rock, she found a small, white flower. She picked it carefully, to not harm the roots. Then she proudly showed it to the two men.* "Our first goal on the trip: The Edelweiss. Known for it's purity and innocence." *She pulled out a small pouch, where she put the flower gently down.* "The sun will rise any moment now. Should we stay here and try to get a meal and some rest, or should we continue our journey?"

"That depends. Are we at increased risk in the daylight?"

*Wild looked down the mountainside, where they had climbed. There were many holes in it. Cave entrances. And inside the caves, she knew there were orcs.*
"The orcs in this area are getting out of their caves to feed at daylight. But they never climb as far up as this. I don't think they expect to find food here. And with food, I mean living creatures. Like us."

"I would rather be farther away from them," *Figwit said.* "If we can make it."

*Wild thought for a moment. Then she smiled.*
"Well, we could always use the short cut... If you are properly dressed."
*She grabbed him and pulled herself up, then she pointed at the other side of the top of the cliff. The entire mountainside was covered with snow and ice. She smiled eagerly. Then she threw herself over the edge and started sliding all the way down to the ground.*
"Last man down is a rotten egg!" *She laughed.*
