*'Lilith', as she had been called by Hannibal, inspected her surroundings with a wicked gaze. She walked in a different manner than Irene ever had- sexual, but with a deliberate madness that was hard to define*

*Holmes, having scoped out the shop for some nights, was finally afforded Irene alone. He knew from her manner that she was not herself--still, he had to take that risk. He might not get another opportunity.
The bell over the door rang as he entered.*

*Edward, just passing by, happened to glance in the window and see a gorgeous woman, looking incredibly sexy. He didn't feel like going to the barber's just about now, but this woman was too good to pass up. He peered through the window once more before entering, causing the bell above the door to ring once more.*

*Holmes turned to the intruder, irked at the other man's presence. Then again, it was a place of business.*

*Edward watched the other man look at him, sticking his tongue out at the other man's back once he turned around. This man couldn't decide where he went and where he didn't. He winked at the woman, hoping to catch her eye.*

*Lillith looked at Holmes with a cruel gleam in her eyes*
"Hello again, Mr. Detective."

*Holmes stood his ground and nodded.*
"Good evening, Madame. Have you decided upon a moniker yet?"

*Edward stood still, wondering if they would notice him and what in the world they were talking about. Perhaps eavesdropping would give him some clues.*

((This side of her actually is kind of a female Hyde.))
"Dr. Lecter called me Lillith."
*She raised a brow*
"Is there some way I can help you or your friend outside?"

Lilith.
*Holmes thought perhaps he hated this Dr. Lecter.*
"I merely came by to see if you had made progress. Clearly not."
*He could not bear to see her this way. Her familiar form, like a glove to cast onto any unworthy hand. Like "Lilith." He could not believe this to be a part of her. Not his Irene. No, nor Francis'.*
"If I can be of no service to you, I will take my leave."

((That's mainly why I came in, to see how they got along.))
*Edward grinned. Lillith was a beautiful name fitting for such a beautiful woman.*

((Not going to drag her out of here? )) "Who says you can't be of service to me?" *She took a step forward* "Don't tell me you can just walk away from this..."

"No," *Holmes said tightly.* "I can't."
*He grabbed her by the arm and began propelling her towards the door and past Hyde. He detested the look of the man, and could not leave her here with him.*

*Edward remained in the background increasingly confused by the discussion. What did the man mean by "made progress"? Progress on what? Well, perhaps if he decided to leave after all, Edward would get what he wanted from this Lillith, although he didn't see why any man would refuse such an offer.*

((Gah! I keep posting a minute too late. Just pretend my last two posts came the post before, if that makes any sense at all.))
*Edward growled quietly as the man began to drag the woman out of the barber shop. He didn't want that. He rushed up to the pair and grabbed the woman's other arm*
"I think I want her to stay here."
