"Of course" he smiled "and like I said you'd be a welcome addition."

"How do I join? Do I just...walk in?"
All of her schooling had been at home, and now that she was older she wasn't sure how she was going to fit in well at a school. She couldn't very well be a teacher, you had to have a special degree for that.

"I run it" he laughed "I'm pretty sure I can arrange something."

"Great! What would be a good time for me?"
Personally, she could start right now, but the Professor might have other things he needed to do today.

"We can go whenever you want, after lunch, tomorrow, in a week or a year" he smiled "it'll be there."
Charles was feeling a little more like himself while talking to Treszka, a part he was afraid had been buried below the depression and the obsession.
He felt hope for the first time in a long time.

"I could go after lunch. I don't have any other obligations right now."
Except for Zachaire.
She still didn't know how to tell him about herself, if she even could.

"How far can you-" the food arrived and Charles quickly cut off his sentence and thanked the waiter, waiting until all ears were out of range "-how far can you teleport and how accurate are you?"

Treszka waited, too, making sure there wasn't anybody that would overhear. Just in case, though, she lowered her voice a bit.
"I can go anywhere, and I hit my marks every time. I've popped around all over the world just to see if I can. I have to be careful, though. I don't appear inside buildings unless I'm familiar with them because of how precise you have to be to avoid showing up in a wall. A close call showed me how dangerous building-hopping is."
Recalling that moment still scared her. She'd decided to pop over to the Met in New York City, but when she'd appeared in a back hallway she found that a large chunk of her hair and her overcoat were stuck inside a wall. When she'd teleported away in a panic, the parts of the hair and the coat that had been caught didn't go with her. Since then, she'd been paranoid about teleporting too close to a structure.
"When I was a kid, I didn't have a lot of control over it. It took a lot of practice to get it where it is now."

"Fascinating" he smiled, the word invoking an image of his friend Hank working on something in the lab "we've a young man who can teleport, but due to his mutation he can only teleport to things he can see. So no teleporting through walls or across country, but it is an effective means of travel for certain" he picked up his chop sticks and began to eat.

Treszka started to eat, too, having for a moment forgotten there was food in front of them. Their conversation had been far more interesting than...well, anything that had happened lately.
"It's nice to know I'm not the only one who can do something like that."

"You would like Kurt, he's one of the nicest men you could ever meet" he smiled "when he was younger, they used to call him Loki because he would play tricks on people, all for fun of course."

I wonder if he knows about...ack! Never mind that!
There were way too many cross-overs going on right now. It was hard to keep track, but she was pretty sure that these X-men hadn't run into the actual Loki from Thor's side of things.
"I'd love to meet everyone. It'd be nice to hang around other people for a while. I..." she sighed. "I've been on my own way too much. I'm trying to fix that."

He nodded "Loneliness is one thing we understand quite a bit about."

The smile she gave him was a bit sad.
"Maybe I can help someone with that while they help me."

"Absolutely" he smiled.
