"Well, I..."
It would be silly to turn it down after all he'd said to John, but all he could remember was all those times he'd told Miles (why must everything go back to that?) that he couldn't afford such-and-such thing.
He dug in his pocket, pulling out the tattered and beat-up wallet the watched like a hawk--and, to his surprise, realized after counting that he had a bit of extra for whatever.
"Sure, okay."

John grinned "Wonderful, I'll go get ready, if you need I've got plenty of clothes, lots of nice donations."

"What's wrong with what I've got now?"
He was in normal clothes at the moment--that is, not what he usually showed up in when out on the streets.

"Absolutely nothing" John laughed "you look very nice actually, I think I look like, well crap, so I'm going to go change."
Waving back at him he ran up the stairs to change and comb his all ready fine hair.

"Oh...thanks. You--"
But John was already up the stairs.
"--seem fine to me."

((D'Awww!))
John brushed his teeth and combed his hair and put on a nice pair of pants and a blazer, something he'd learned that looked good on him. He came down the stairs a few minutes later.

It wasn't until John came back down that he realized he didn't have his coat with him--but, outside it looked like it was warming up, so likely he wouldn't need it this time around. Meh. He was also feeling too lazy to go get it at the moment.
He got to his feet.
"Well...lead the way."

John nodded and stuffed his hands in his pockets as they headed for the door "You'll be fine without a coat?"

**NEW DAY**
László needed new clothes.
Not that he was fashion-aware (hardly), but it was for the simple fact that eating well meant that he'd put on the weight he should've had to begin with, and now the clothes were starting to be too snug on him because of it. The only thing that hadn't really changed were his boots, which he was glad of. They'd weathered so much for so long that he felt a sort of fondness for them, silly as that was.
The problem, of course, was that he hadn't any money to spend to buy new clothes that would fit him. Thoughts of the job John had suggested flitted through his mind, and he hovered about downstairs, flipping through a newspaper as he waited to catch John as he went about his rounds.

John who had a pile of towels in his hands came down the stairs singing a bit loudly some song he barely knew the words of.
It was a dad thing.

Both eyebrows shot up at this entrance, and then, grinning, he got to his feet and approached John.
"I'm sure 'something something' is not how that part goes." He teased.

John stopped and looked around the towels "Yes it is, and the chorus is 'lala and then lalaa' I thought you knew music" he laughed.

He shook his head, still smiling.
"Oh, and I wanted to call in a favor you've owed me for a while." He said, eyes twinkling.
