John headed in the direction of the club and looked up in to the sky "So dreary."

"Looks about the usual you'd find in good ol' Dracheheim. It either rained or looked like it was going to."

"I think I'd die if I couldn't see the sun at least every once in a while."

He shrugged.
"You get used to it."

"I think that's why I came to Paris, London is terribly dreary as well."

"There was one nice thing about back home, though--the countryside was beautiful."

John smiled "Rolling hills and whatnot?"

"Oh, no--mountains and forests. That's what the land is like around Dracheheim, in any case. The city's fairly isolated up there."

"Sounds like Lorien, or at least what Amras told me of Lorien."

"Where?"
The air, László noted, still held hints of a storm, though it was the sort of thing you got as a storm was leaving.

"Lorien is in the south of France, it's behind the mountains."

That didn't really tell him much, but he just shrugged in response.
"Okay."
((Oh, god...don't tell him about the elves. He has a hard enough time not going brain asplody thanks to vampires, werewolves and a psychic.))

((John doesn't plan on it, he figures that it'd be too difficult to explain it to him, but eventually he's going to run in to Amras, he's showing up at the shelter after this by the way, I've all ready started the thread, I just haven't felt like barbiesmashing.))
"It's apparently a beautiful country, nothing like the cities, where people live in trees and respect nature." He chuckled "I love the city, but to live in a place like that, well... it'd be heaven."

"I...guess."
Though he had certainly seen the mountains and forests around Dracheheim, László had spent most of his life in the city itself and couldn't really imagine what John was talking about.
"So, just how far is this club?"

Looking up John smiled "It's right there" they came in to a downtown area with a lot of lights and people walking on the streets. Beautiful women, well dressed men and John and Laszlo. Le Renard du Soir was a quiet unassuming place with a short line, but loud music.
John listened carefully "Beautiful."
