((June? I have no idea... Do we have to invite people, or should we start a wedding thread and have people show up and pretend like we've had months to plan the meticulous detail? And we'll have to keep it all in Paris, or France at the most. England's a bit too far for the Sueniverse, I think. Then again, what do badfics care for geography? Tell me what you think.))

((Hrrrm. Maybe we should ask Lune or Bijan. Although it seems to me that once they got engaged, they gave it a few days after making the announcement, and then they just let the wedding thread run it's natural course.))

(Heee. I also left a note with Bonnie-Marie, asking for advice. No angst! We should plan it carefully, so we can answer questions and set everything up and stuff.))

((No kidding. Should I go for a period-correct dress or just rape David's Bridal online? And didn't women not wear white as a rule until very recently? Plus Vianne's on her second marriage here, so even if brides are supposed to wear white, it wouldn't apply in a widow's case. And...well she's not in mourning publicly, because everyone thought her husband died fifteen years before now, rather than fifteen days...))

((*grins* No white, probably period, since we stay in period, please go for something more upscale than David's Bridal. You're marrying a seriously wealthy guy...go nuts! And hwo cares if it isn't TOTALLY period....hunt for a gown you've always wanted to wear!))

((I've found a couple that I like from the 1860s. But--they're kind of white. All the coloured dresses are in fugly patterns. (Blue and green plaid. Need I say more?) ))

*Raoul entered, puuling Eleanor.* Well, this is the kitchens where you pretend to eat.

*looks up and jumps away from Percy slightly as she sees the Vicomte enter.* "Monsieur," *she says coldly, bowing her head to the patron as her job security demanded she do, her lack of respect for him glaring through her eyes at him. She eyed Eleanor pityingly and scathingly at the same moment.* "I see you have found something to amuse you whilst your wife has been ill recently," *she said in an icy tone, having heard of Marianne's trip to the infirmary earlier that day.*

Percy reached out, took Vianne's hands, and stared down at the Vicomte from some 6 foot odd of cold displeasure.
"Monsieur," he drawled, but his blue eyes were cold and sharp.
"I cannot imagine what a gentleman such as yourself is doing in the kitchens, what?"
"Sink me!" he exclaimed. "First this Revolution of yours, now aristos wandering where servants sleep! Odd's fish, man! What next?"

*Vianne shot a grateful look at Percy as she went over to Eleanor and led her from the kitchens and back to her room before the Vicomte could do any further damage to the girl, leaving Percy to deal with the patron.*
