((Haha, you've got a point there.))
Beatrice blinked and shook her head. She could tell that Gwendolyn was uneasy. She decided to try and be more calm. "I just got here a day ago. I may just live in the city. I don't know."

Gwendolyn was relieved at the change of conversation. She was also glad to know that there were new people coming to the Opera Populaire.
"I am not quite sure what I'm going to do either. I might just get an apartment but I'd love to stay here. It's a bit less secluded here.I like that."

"I don't think I have any talents for the opera, though." She sighed.

" Have some faith.I'm sure you'll be able to find some way to get yourself known that will make everyone take notice of you.I just need a way to get in myself," she began to stare off into the city.

Beatrice frowned. What she'd done was already well known, but hopefully noone knew about her. "I'm sure we'll both make in it. She followed Gwendolyn's gaze out to the city. "Paris is beautiful, isn't it?"

Gwendolyn smiled and hoped that Beatrice was right. After all the bad things, she just wanted a bit a happiness.
"It is beautiful and it's such a perfect view of the city from here. All the people look so tiny from up here."

Beatrice leaned over the edge and laughed. "So may little people rushing around. They have no idea that were up here looking."

Gwendolyn moved close to the edge. She gave out a small chuckle.
"I used to fear heights with every inch of my being when I was younger.Though being up here is almost like being in a position of power over the tiny dots below.I remember Papa...well he always was the one who loved heights."

***A NEW DAY***
Aurora climbed up the stairs to the rooftop slowly, running her hand over the railing. She lingered in the doorway for a few seconds and walked over to the edge of the roof. The bright city of Paris and it many spectacular views never ceased to amaze her.
"Wow..." she gasped.

((I have no idea when this happened. It just... did.))
*Norman couldn't go back home. The motel was as good as a jail, now; he'd been wrong to think he could just go back and not fall into the same patterns. And even if he'd already sullied the opera house with innocent blood, well, he wasn't the first and there was lots of room. Lots of it.
Seeking the open air, Norman made his way up countless stairs until he found himself beneath the stars. He could breathe here. He could get a grip, try to figure out what to do next, try to stop what horrible demon was taking him over.
A figure moved to his right, and he looked. Another lost soul, silhouetted against the bright lights of Paris. So alive, this city. All but him.
The figure turned, the half-light casting her face into a delicate chiaroscuro of loneliness. Beautiful. Norman felt his heart reach out to her, whoever she was to seek refuge here. Was she like him? No, she could not be. She was light, pure, innocent. Not like him. Her eyes, were he to approach, would not hold the darkness the mirror did for him.
Perhaps that was what he needed.*
((Do you want to talk? Or not?))

((Sure.))
Aurora shivered; though the night was beautiful, it was cold as well. She felt a bit uncomfortable, as if someone was watching her. Turning, she found to her surprise, a man indeed gazing at her.
“H-Hello,” she stammered weakly.

**NEW NIGHT**
*Parisa slipped out onto the roof, gazing out at the city silently.*

*Gambit was balancing on the roof edge, doing some acrobatic stunts. He noticed the girl entering the roof and grinned at her.*
"Ello, petite."

Rogue had been tracking Gambit for a few days and finally found him entering the opera.
She sat quiet in the shadows watching him.

((Gambit is in trouble, no?))
*Gambit was being a terrible show-off, as always, when he sensed something different in the air. Blame it on hanging out with Wolverine for way too long, but he knew something was up. He peered into the darkness.*
"Who's there?"
