*Arielle sat on the roof, wrapped in a thick black cloak. Her hair whipped about her face in the bitter wind, and her eyes were a bit puffy after shedding so many tears. Her heart was broken into a thousand pieces, and she was in so much pain she could hardly breathe. And now she was here, on the roof, where so much had happened. So much love and heartbreak and death...Arielle closed her eyes for a moment, resisting the urge to throw herself off the roof. It was only a few steps to nothingness...but no. She had her child to think of. She buried her face in her hands, wishing that she could see Teddy again, hear his voice, even if it was only to say goodbye.*

"Excuse me", I said to the grieving girl. I knew it was a bad time for her, but I had to ask her the same questions I was asking everyone else. "I realize how insensitive this sounds, and I do truly apologize, but I'm handling the investigations here, and I need to ask you some questions."

*Arielle looked over at Irene and nodded, wiping her eyes.* Alright.

I sighed, and collected myself. "What do you know about a girl named Jo March?"

*Arielle thought for a moment* She's from America- I think she sort of grew up with Teddy. She had some sisters, but they died in a fire, and her mother sold her into marriage with Teddy's father, who sent her here to be Teddy's wife. But then Teddy said that the marriage certificate wasn't legal or something, so I think he was going to pay for her ticket to get back to America. But that's all I know about her.

"I see." Ah, the classic scorned-lover-living-dual-identities plot. Okay, maybe it wasn't so classic. "Do you know how she felt about this? Was she happy? Angry?"

Um...She didn't want to be married to Teddy, but I don't think she liked the fact that he was married to me.

"There's one thing I don't get." I moved in closer to her. "You claimed to hate Raoul. When I first came here, you told me to stay away from him. You even have a picture of him with the words 'evil cheater' written over in on your former signiture on your dresser. And yet, now the two of you are close once again. It doesn't seem strange to you?"

We aren't close, I can definately tell you that. *Arielle bit her lip* I suppose it is rather strange...we were ignoring each other for a while, but then he kidnapped me and took me to his estate, tied me to a chair, and we yelled at each other. Then he let me go. I think I said something that had some effect, even if it was tiny, because I think he's trying to change...I don't know. It's kind of weird that he kidnapped me out of the blue...I never wanted to see his face again. And I never want to get close to him again.

"Thank you for your time."
I turned to walk away, then stopped.
"By the way, just out of curiosity, where were you when he was killed?"

I've been at my house for the past several days...*She grabbed Irene's arm and gazed up her, her eyes looking slightly desperate* Do you really think that you can find out who killed him?

"I think so", I whispered. "Whether or not the law will punish them is another matter. But I promise you, I will find your husband's killer no matter what the risk."

Thank you...*Arielle bit her lip as she thought for a moment* Could- could you tell me what you've found so far?
