"Sandwiches" John called out from the bathroom "cause that's what I ordered."

László had to stifle a yawn.
"Oh, booooring," he said, teasingly. "No...um..."
He had to think for a moment. An English food?
"...scones?" He finished lamely.

"Scones?" He laughed "Sure we could do scones."

"I think I barely know what those are." He mumbled, and smiled faintly.

"They're pastries, very thick pastries" John came out of the bathroom, the top button on his shirt undone "get some rest, the food will be here when you wake up."

László had already fallen asleep, only barely hearing John's answer about scones.

John smiled down at the sleeping man and found himself holding his breath. He never knew he could feel so happy after everything that had happened.
He intended on showering and that's exactly what he was going to do. He left a hanger on the door informing the staff to leave the food cart outside the door and not to knock.
He removed his shoes and wiggled his toes in to the carpet, before moving to the cold tile of the bathroom. He now had the hard choice of picking between the shower and the bathtub and found himself biting his lip with a smile. He decided on the bath and turned the water on slowly to get the right temperature and found himself laughing a little.
It all felt a little surreal, here he was in his mid 30's with two beautiful daughters, a more than successful shelter and a partner whom he was so wholly in love with he smiled whenever he thought about him.
Slipping out of his clothes, he piled them neatly on the sink and slipped slowly in to what he'd been told was called a whirlpool bath. He'd been informed to hit the jets button, so this is what he did. He jumped a little when the jets started but quickly eased back in to it as they began to massage his back.

This had to've been one of the more comfortable beds László had ever slept in. As a result, he felt incredibly rested when he woke sometime later. For a brief moment, he couldn't figure out where he was, but a flood of memories reminded him and he heaved a contented sigh. It was still hard to believe sometimes that this was where he was, now. László's musings were interrupted when it hit him that he had no idea how long he'd slept for.
"Uh...John?"
Hopefully he hadn't slept through anything interesting.

John opened his eyes when he heard his name, finding that he'd fallen asleep in the bath.
"I-in the bath!" He called out and coughed himself awake.
The jets were on low and his hands were slightly pruny, it couldn't have been too long.

László rolled over onto his stomach, smirking a little.
"Have you been in there the whole time? You'll dissolve into the water!"

"I fell asleep" he replied with a little laugh and slowly tried standing up, keeping his balance on the side of the tub "didn't think I was that tired."

László got to his feet and wandered over.
"Well, you better hurry. You don't want to miss room service." He said, giving John a wink.

"Could you hand me a towel?"

He plucked one off the towel rack and handed it to John.
"Got any plans beyond food?"

"I have no idea."
Wrapping the towel around his waist he fluffed up his hair and looked in to the mirror. He was graying at an increasingly worrying rate and this caused a frown to befall his usual grinning face.
He had to remind himself everyday how young he was.
