He laughed softly.
"If anyone's a light, you are."

He replied with a laugh and a smile.

He rubbed John's shoulder.
"Really, truly."

"It's a dull one, my light" he plopped down on the bed, still messy from the nights activities "but thank you for saying so."

He sat down next to John, his arm still around him.
"No it's not. You shine...so brightly."
He kissed his cheek.
"It blinds us, sometimes."

John blushed softly "You're being for too complimentary for my own good right now."

He kissed John again, softly. Not a trace of provactiveness--being true to his word.
"John, John, wonderful John."

John touched Laszlo's face, his hand cupping his jaw "I wasn't always wonderful John you know" he smiled, a shy smile he hadn't given since he was a young man "it took a lot of years, and a lot of mistakes to get to this place. And even now, I can't really be called wonderful, not truly. I'm just a man" he swallowed "a man who cares for you, more than he can explain."

He closed his eyes for a moment at the touch, then opened them again.
"You said..."
He swallowed.
"You said you loved me. Earlier."

"I do" his smile disappeared, leaving a very serious look on his face "I meant it."

László smiled softly.
"No one's ever said that to me."

A small smirk appeared in the corner of John's mouth, what he wanted to say was 'Then I was your first?'
But he found that, given their situation at the moment, he'd keep that particular though to himself.
"I've only said it twice in my life" he replied, running an innocent hand through Laszlo's hair "and you're the second."

"I didn't think I ever would. There's no love out there, you know?"
It was warm, comforting, just sitting snuggled together like this. The light touch of John's hand...was this the sort of thing he'd spoken of before?

Resting his hand on the back of Laszlo's neck he smiled "There isn't, you're right" he exhaled softly "there isn't much of anything out there."

"So how did it find me?" He asked, sliding both arms around John.
