"...I don't know what an auspice is, my lord," said Tybalt timidly.

A rather fickle protection, but he didn't doubt his ability to put down anything so simple as a baseless feud.

Tybalt stared down at his lap in shame.
"Please don't concern yourself with satisfying me, my lord," he said, in an almost pleading tone, at least as could be understood in his almost emotionless speech. "You are the sovereign and I am the servant. Let me pledge myself to your satisfaction. Take no care for mine."

Tybalt had no idea if Doom still required his presence, and his stomach had officially turned over, no more would be eaten that day. Yet he did not wish to be sent from him; his own brief speech had forced the idea that Doom was the only replacement he had for anyone at all in Verona. This realization brought with it flashes of thought, of sickening desires involving walls and crushing pain and smothered moans, but in this state they were only a dull background noise.

"Y-yes, my lord," he said, failing to regain composure but not losing an ounce of formality, bowing a second time before departing, staring down at his hand.
