It'd taken a bit to find this place--apparently, there were two castle Draculas, one of which had obviously gone unoccupied for some time. He didn't have time to stop and think about the implications of that, and even if he had, his ultimate reaction would have been the mere rolling of eyes. He'd seen plenty enough that he couldn't really be surprised anymore.
The former archangel--and former many other things--practically stormed into the castle proper, swiftly moving through the rooms in search of Brandi. He wasn't reckless, no, as getting his ass handed to him would hardly help anyone. But he knew, without knowing how, that there were only two people here, one that he'd come to rescue and the other he'd come to punch in the face.

*It had not taken his keen senses to be made aware of Gabriel's presence; he had done little to obfuscate himself. Dracula gave the man a bit to sweat, as he was confident there were plenty of rooms to check before even getting to the lower floors. He watched Gabriel unobserved, silently making his way along the ceiling after him. It was terribly amusing to see him so...ruffled by the whole affair.
Finally he swooped down, looking all the more menacing as if he'd been standing there the whole time and just waiting for the angel.*
"Tsk, Gabriel." *He shook his head slowly.* "One would think by now you would know better than to assume you are welcome in my property." *His gaze was cold and fixed on the other unrelentingly.*

He stopped in his tracks, watching Dracula carefully. You never knew what the other would do.
"Oh, I know I'm the last person you want to see here. But your hospitality isn't what brought me to this place.
Where is she?"

You are not welcome in her either.
*Dracula rolled his eyes. Things never did change, did they?*
"She is no longer your concern, Gabriel. I intend to see her back where she belongs." *His chin lifted indignantly. This was his house and she was his...well, would be again. Jaw setting tightly, Dracula gave every impression that his word was the last one on the matter.*

It galled, how Dracula jumped to conclusions about Brandi. Raziel hadn't laid any claims to her, and besides, trying to do so to a woman--especially an amazing one--made you sound like you were from the dark ages.
"She doesn't 'belong' to anybody, and you have no right to keep her here."

((Some guys just refuse to get with the times. Sheesh.))
*Dracula cocked a cool brow, arms crossing and giving him the look of someone with a delicious secret he wasn't about to share.*
"And how do you know that, Gabriel?" *He took a step closer, arms dropping easily as he leaned in a bit.*
"It is not as if you can recall who you are, much less who she is." *He grinned cruelly, fangs glinting slightly.*

Names flashed through his mind as he changed his stance, one more aggressive.
"I know more than you think. Neither one of us have been idle, you know."

*Dracula's brow lifted in mock sympathy as he continued towards the man.*
"No, no...I do not think that fact is in question." *His sharp gaze was fixed on the angel, keen and unforgiving.* "After all, it was you that drew my attention to her...side project." *The smile returned knowingly.*
"To be able to relocate someone against his will is no small feat." *He conceded evenly.* "Though it would seem that she is...less effective, as of late."
*Dracula had been working on a hypothesis as to why that might be. He was certain, with enough time, he would sort it all out. And he was rather content with her where she was.*

"Then what do you want? Why go through all of this trouble? We would've been just fine staying out of your hair if you stayed out of ours."
He was starting to get agitated, which he knew wouldn't help, and was trying hard to marshall his emotions. But lately the subject of Brandi AND Dracula seemed to get under his skin. Well, more than usual, and for different reasons.
"All this could have been avoided if you'd just kept your distance."

*Dracula's eyes narrowed sharply.*
"I might say the same about you, Gabriel." *The words pushed themselves between clenched teeth. There was a long moment of tension hanging between the two, a promise that neither would concede in the matter. There was a shift then, Dracula took back up his cool air of indifference as he continued.*
"As to what I want..." *His tongue pressed against his teeth.* "I want you to dismiss all thought of her, leave my house and do not return." *Such a thing was most likely too much to hope for.*

"I don't know what..."
His mind flashed back, to an incident his whacked-out memory hadn't conjured up before: standing on castle battlements, speaking to a black-haired version of Brandi, both of them wearing very archaic clothes and speaking...Romanian?
He shook his head.
"I can leave your house...with her. I think you know it's useless telling me to forget about her."

"And I would think you would know it to be foolish to even ask me to surrender her to you, Gabriel." *Dracula's smug smile had vanished, his lips cut in a hard line. His brow lowered, narrowing his piercing eyes. His back hunched slightly, as if bracing for the fight to come.*
"I would not take her only to relinquish her again. If you will not leave politely, I will see you shown out." *The last words melted into a hiss.*

Raziel's smile was humorless.
"Then make me," he growled, launching himself at Dracula.

"As you wish."
*Dracula snarled, refined appearance melting away as his beast emerged. His back arched as leathery wings spread to their full span. Deadly fangs bared, Dracula lunged to meet his opponent mid-air, all teeth and claws.*

In mid-air it stayed, Raziel having unfurled his own black-feathered wings, so rarely used these days, though no less strong. The momentum from the two of them colliding sent them careening through the air in the room, toward the opposite wall. Raziel paid their trajectory no mind, clawing animalistically his opponent.
