"Oh but please, you need to be pampered my dear, if only for one day" she'd say yes, the Z would make sure of that. You simply couldn't say no on the stuff, he knew that first hand.

"But...but it's not proper." She stammered.
"For me to accept such a gift would mean...would mean..."
Suddenly, she turned very red in the face.

"Spend it on the poor? They could use it far more than me." She said simply.
Her soup was halfway gone, but she seemed to be having trouble finishing it--not because it wasn't good (it was), but because of the Zydrate, though she of course didn't know that.

He squinted his eyes "It must of been your soup" he stood up "waiter! Call me a car, your soup has made my dear friend here quite sick!"
"Monsieur-" Eddy raised his hand and yelled at him in French, the waiter looking terrified and ran to call him a car.
He kneeled down next to Yaoya "How are you feeling?"

Flowers were blooming out of the tabletop. Pink, blue, white...
"I think I'm going crazy." She whispered. "I'm seeing things!"
Her speech was still slurred, and in places her accent had thickened.

He decided now was about the time she'd probably figure she was hearing things "What are you seeing?"

She rubbed at her eyes, trying to make the vision go away, except...
