(No... I have a much better idea. ) Azula paused in her frenzy upon hearing Rinoa's voice, her Nightmare Fuel-tainted madness connecting the concern in the other girl's voice to the worst possible person: Lady Ursa, Azula's mother and the foci of so many of her fugues.
"You!!! How dare you face me!?" the teenage girl screamed, whipping her arms forward to fire a double bolt of lightning at Rinoa, sparks cascading off her fingers and eyes golden slits of hate and resentment.
Her nightmare twisted along this new axis, the other phantoms falling back to leave the fallen princess to face her 'Mother' under gaze of the flailing Avatar giant. Her thoughts tumbled like burning leaves through a doomed forest.

The red-coated figure came closer, then took off his goggles and mask before Rinoa could cast another spell and told her he was Billy.
"W-wait." Rinoa squinted at the gun, and her strangely-outfitted friend, then stepped back. "That thing kills people! And you aimed it at me! ...You, aimed it at me--"
As Azula suddenly yelled something directed to her, Rinoa only had time to look in her other friend's general direction before being hit with a massive surge of electricity. After several moments of terrible pain, she slumped to the ground unconscious.

"HOLY FUCKING--" Billy raced over in a panic, searching Rinoa's duster for whatever she'd used to help Azula when they'd met up. All he could find was a feather, though--a glowing feather, but still a feather. "What's THIS for? Okay..."
He waved it vaguely around Rinoa's chest, and was startled when the feather was inexplicably blown out of his hands. It sank into the girl's chest, giving off a more powerful blueish glow, and he waited expectantly for something to happen.

Azula paused after her attack, the new technique having drawn more out of her than her pained and exhausted condition could quite blatantly ignore, her eyes momentarily filling with hesitant confusion as a very-small part of her will tried to blugdeon the rest of her thoughts with the fact she had just shot her own teamate.
It didn't quite take and the fury returned, Azula drawing her borrowed steak knife and stalking forward with the intent on finishing her 'Mother' and the suddenly manifesting figure of dear-treacherous 'Zuzu' who was cradling her. The fallen princess' smile lit up with pure cruel evil, her tainted thoughts exalting at the idea of finishing them.

As Rinoa resumed consciousness, the first thing she became aware of was the excruciating pain from the scorched flesh on her back, the smell of smoke from her singed hair, and Billy's concerned face. A part of her was glad she was alive and could still feel all her limbs, as well as the fact that Billy had put down whatever dangerous weapon he was carrying before and didn't seem very focused on killing at the moment.
The rest of her was engaged in anguished screaming.

The sounds of someone screaming hit Kiba full-on as the effects of the gas started wearing off. He wasn't alone! Helen--was that Helen?!
"Helen, what are you DOING HERE?" He jumped off the roof and bounded over, only taking enough time to notice the smell of burned flesh and the girl who'd shot her. He nudged her with his nose, ignoring the random male next to her--she was burned and in shock, but not as seriously injured as when Starmane shot her with an arrow.
He turned on Azula with a snarl, not caring if his fangs were still covered in strange-smelling blood and that his shadow was probably giving him away. "No one attacks my pack," he said, before leaping at her.

Azula was so far gone at this point, trapped in her hellish delusion thanks to Billy's brillant move with the grenade, that a talking fractured moose-hound didn't throw her off her game at all. She threw out one hand while the beast was still airborne and shot off a torrent of blue flame that would hopefully knock the airborne beast back onto 'Ursa' and 'Zuko', a smoking corpse to warn them what kind of death they would pray for after having so injured her, denied her, thwarted her! They would all pay! Every single one of them!

The full force of the fire only grazed him, but it was still hot enough to burn him as he was knocked out of his trajectory and scrabbled back to his feet. NOBODY attacked his pack, especially not Helen, and by a MAGE! Not even a full-grown one!
He headed again for another attack, sticking to the ground and only jumping when he was a few feet away.

Suddenly, the sky around Midna began to...tear. Objects nearby ran together and bled like an oil painting when overheated, and the ground shook, causing gashes to erupt suddenly. Panicked, she turned to Zant and...NO! He was swelling up again, almost like a balloon--it would be hilarious were it not so macabre. This was the most terrifying of all--though she didn't want to see this again, even scarier was the idea of losing it all again. But it was too late--Zant burst with the scream she had inflicted on him, and the ground opened up under her feet, spilling her out into a vast, empty blueness. Trying to steady herself, she once again brought a foot down, rushing towards Kiba.

Ursa's softly condemning voice whispered gibberish in Azula's ear amid the oscilating thunder and roar of the battle , the sprawled out woman smiling mockingly at her daughter as the beast attacked again. The fallen princess tumbled to one side of the charge with ready grace, letting the monster fly over her.
Her psuedo-composure fractured again as the Avatar extended a glowing limb of swirling rock and water her way, Azula jumping backwards with the roar of two jets of flame to boost her away. She landed in a crouch, eyes flickering around and fired a shot of blue flame at 'Ursa' and 'Zuko', not wanting to give them a chance to recover.

Tsume was kind of tired after running ten miles straight, but Helen was safe with the Elves so he could follow Kiba and make sure he didn't get himself killed--which seemed REALLY likely since some chick was throwing fire at him, there was a giant monster-thing with Midna's scent destroying everything, and there were a bunch of soldiers either hiding or running as far from the place as possible.
"Kiba, what the hell have you gotten yourself into this time?" He demanded, tackling the other wolf and making sure they were out of both Midna's and the fire-girl's range. "What's happening?!"

Okay, so there was a wolf--Kiba?--and his friend (who seemed more irritated than worried, since this was normal to him), and Azula was still going crazy even though the Nightmare Fuel should be wearing off by now, and Rinoa got healed...ish by the magic feather--
Too much to think about right now! He bent down again to help Rinoa up. "Rinoa, are you okay?"

After a minute or two, shock began to set in and Rinoa could think again. She took a deep breath (which hurt), suppressed any movement which would only cause more pain, and then said very calmly, "Billy, I'm going to heal myself and then use Stop on Azula, but you'll have to give her this--" Rinoa handed him a Remedy. "Since I'll be busy healing myself. Again."
All she had were regular potions--this hit would probably use up ten of them in order for her to walk without terrible pain. Why hadn't she listened to Squall the last time she saw him and stocked up on Hi-Potions? Even one would be enough to get her out of this mess...
Oh, right. Because he was Squall and the war was over and coming here had kind of taken her by surprise. Ugh. She drank a potion and felt the pain ease up a bit, but no discernable difference in the healing process.
"Be really careful, Billy. I don't have enough potions to get both of us out of the red, and that lightning hurt a lot. "

"Okay, but... how do I use it?" Billy asked after staring at it for a moment.

Rinoa cast Stop on Azula, effectively freezing the Berserked firebender, and then drank another potion. "Just pour it down her throat, Billy, before the spell wears off." She surprised herself by saying it very patiently despite the need for promptness, though it might have been a combination of both the shock and the potions.
