Frankly she was flabbergasted. There was something of the student, eager for praise, in her yet, it seemed. After a moment of stammering she thanked him, embarrassed at being so undone by some appreciation.

He stood at the edge of the stage and took her hand kissing it softly "There is most definitely a place in this play for you."

She bent so that he could do so.
"I... sank you. So very much. You don't know how much it means," she said haltingly. She was flummoxed, but she certainly knew that she was talented.
