"You were, pardon the word use, snoring loud enough to wake the dead." He said with a smile.
Krolock wasn't upset--in fact, he was rather amused. Yager seemed to be a constant sort of amusement for him, at least thus far.

"So I see." Yager's grin remained in place, even though he wasn't entirely sure where all of his limbs were at and there was a vampire towering over him.
He located his right arm and held it up to the count. "A little help, please?"

"Of course."
He wouldn't begrudge that much. He grabbed Yager's hand and easily pulled him to his feet.

Yager leaned on the count a bit as he regained his footing, which somehow seemed to be a more complex task than it should be, but then managed to stand on his own.
"Thank you," he said with a nod and quite a brilliant smile. "Feeling better now you're rested?"

"Completely. Rest, no matter what you are, is too important to miss."

"So is food..." Yager mumbled as his stomach gave an growl.
The last time the vampire hunter had actually bothered to eat had been before he'd gone off on his sewer-expedition.
"Have you fed yet?"

Krolock chuckled.
"No, I have not. I will in a moment--best not to delay such things."

"I agree... vampires have a tendency to get cranky when hungry. Not that I mean to offend through generalization, it's just that cranky vampires usually don't make for very good company," Yager said pleasantly.
"So... how'bout we find some human food for me and a glass and knife for you?"
The vampire hunter was already rolling up his left sleeve a bit, on the inside of his arm was a long, thin scar.

Krolock looked at him askance, almost not believing what he was hearing.
"What? I mean, yes we must find you something, but I must take care of my...hunger...alone."
He did not like having anybody around when he searched out blood. It wasn't a quirk, simply that he thought it unnecessary to have an audience (the ball was different--of course).

Yager shrugged, bit of a peculiar fellow, this count...
"Fine, then hand me the glass and knife... I suppose you could turn your back if it bothers you."
Honestly, the vampire hunter didn't see the problem. He'd bleed into the goblet, the other would drink it... not the most difficult of procedures, all in all.

Krolock blinked at him a moment.
"Er, I mean, I prefer the hunt."
It felt odd, explaining this. He'd never had to before.

Well, this was different... still, Yager shrugged.
"If you insist. Give me a head start, I could use the exercise."
It had been a while since he himself had been hunted... well, at least those times he'd been aware of it. Though the vampire hunter supposed his father didn't really count, even if the man seemed strangely eager to stake him... or burn him... or decapitate him...

"Oh, no, I didn't mean you. I prefer to searching for it myself."

"Oh, come on. I can hardly let you do that, now can I?" Yager rolled his eyes.
"What kind of hunter would that make me? Standing by during something like that... I'm afraid I shall have to insist here." Besides, most humans and other creatures suffered side-effects from vampire bites! Right down to death and turning into a vampire.
Yager just couldn't have that.

Now Krolock rolled his eyes.
"What sort of host dines on the guests?"
