*A few days after his arrival, Chuck had his valet pack a few things for a day at the beach. Around noon, he and Adrienne were in a coach, traveling along a dirt road leading to her cottage. The ride was fairly smooth but Chuck was ready to get out after ten minutes. God, he missed his towncar.*
*Half an hour later, the coach stopped and he stepped out into the cool breeze of the ocean.*

*Adrienne didn't wait for him to help her out before fairly leaping out of the carriage and running in the direction of the cottage. She whirled.*
"Well? Aren't you coming?"

*He was in the middle of taking a deep breath of the salty sea air. He turned to her with a smile.*
"What's the hurry?"

*She laughed.*
"I haven't seen it in a year, is all." *She turned and unlocked the door.*

*Slipping his hands into his pockets, he followed her.*
*The cottage was charming: small and white with a porch.*

*Inside, it was much of the same: stone, whitewashed walls with a plain wood floor. The main room was a living room/kitchen with a huge window overlooking the beach and sea, and there were two small bedrooms to the left, in addition to a small privy. Adrienne smiled as she entered, going over to open the shades.*
"Nothing exciting, but it serves its purpose."

"I've had enough excitement for the year," *he said, remembering the weeks he had gone missing.*
*He took a look around. Not too shabby for a little beach house.*

"Well, being kidnapped by Persians was certainly exciting, as was getting a new neighbor, but I think I'm ready for some rest." *She said, laughing.*

*He let out of laugh, thinking she was joking.*
"I'm curious," *he said, looking out the window to the waters before turning to her.* "What exactly do bathing suits look like in this century?"
*He looked far too curious.*

"... bloomers and a tunic, why?"

*He... didn't even know what those looked like and the confusion showed on his face.*
"Well..." *he said, the confusion quickly getting replaced by a mischievous smirk.* "Do you want to know what a bikini looks like?"

*She raised an eyebrow and looked dubious.*
"I don't know. Do I?"

*Chuck walked up closer to her and drew imaginary lines with his fingers around where the bikini would cover. He didn't touch her, no, but he definitely made things clear.*

*She turned bright pink.*
"Oh my. That can't be decent."
*Cringing and turning bright pink, she continued:*
"How can people walk around in public like that?"

"Decency as you know it now isn't really a priority in the 21st century. And sometimes, depending on the beach, they even take that off," *he said, hardly being able to keep in a laugh.*
