"Well ain't that just great? These kids need to get to the nursery not sit on a cot, they've got to get to somewhere that's cleaner than this" although yes it was a hospital room, there was blood and such everywhere from the birth.
"And who the hell are you?" He said pointing to the man who had burst in.

"While it would be nice to get them cleaned up - dried blood is very uncomfortable - I wouldn't worry about them. Babies have excellent immune systems. They'll be fine," he told the mother in his most reassuring voice, bofore turning to the doctor with a reproving frown. "I am Dr Mohinder Suresh. And you are?"

"Must be new, Dr. Benjamin Pierce" he said with a sigh "Hawkeye to most" he didn't take any time shaking hands but started looking around for a nurse paging button.

"Oh, I'm not a medical doctor, though I do tend to find myself forced into that role quite often these days. I'm a geneticist, actually."

"That's funny, I'm a surgeon and here I am delivering babies" he shrugged and hit the nurse call switch, only to find it shorted out.

He sighed. "I don't know," he said. "People expect me to be able to do everything. It's ridiculous." He eyed the nurse call button. "Broken, is it? Bloody cat. Of course it is."
He walked back over and knocked on the door. "This thing is rather solid, and I don't want to do anything that could frighten the children even if we did have a way to knock it down. We're not terribly out of the way, someone will walk by eventually and we can call out to them when we hear footsteps."

Hawkeye shook his head "I've been in this type of situation too many times" he laughed "only I was in Korea and there were shells smacking the ground all around me."

Spock watched the two men speak and turned to the red headed woman with a nod before walking toward the door and inspecting it.

Mohinder smiled wryly at the doctor. "So this is a walk in the park, then. I must admit, it's much more fun than having myself and my daughter kidnapped at gunpoint by a serial killer, too." He frowned. "Shells? The Korean War? So you aren't a native to this timeline either, then."
Not waiting for an answer, he turned to the silent man. "Any luck?" he asked.

Spock nodded and placed a hand on his phazer "Now I'd ask you all to sit behind the bed, the young miss will be fine."
((Just put Yay or Nay at the top of the post if you want it to work or not.))

((Well, I was going to have Sylar come to the 'rescue', but I was waiting for Hedonism to show up. I'm not sure she's going to, though, so. I vote Nay, but feel free to overrule me.))
Mohinder raised his eyebrows, but nodded. He gave one baby to Dr Pierce, picked up the other and curled up behind the bed, sheilding the newborn with his body as best he could.

((Brandi's kind of awol right now, so we can have Sylar show up if you'd like, however Spock will be upset that it didn't work, but he can deal.))
Spock raised his phazer and shot up through the bottom of the top hinge.
It should have melted it, but instead left a burn mark. Mr. Spock sighed "You may come out now, it seems as though we are stuck in here" he then began tapping on the door, so not to upset the children.

In the halls of the Opera House, Sylar's ears pricked up. He recognised that voice - although he'd never known it to say such... inventive things.
Grinning, he telekinetically pried the girl's hand from his wrist and ran towards the sound. "There he is. Come with me," he said over his shoulder. "I'll introduce you."
**a few minutes later**
The door flew off its hinges, literally, barely missing Dr Pierce before it slammed into the opposite wall. Where it had been, there stood a smirking Sylar.
"Hello, Mohinder," he drawled. "Did you miss me?"

Without missing a beat, Mohinder shifted the baby to one arm, drew his gun with the other, and fired once, twice, three times.
