((Going to move this ahead a bit))
**LATER**
There wasn't much further incident. Thanks to the Captain's early display of punishments, and the reinforcement of what would happen, the men largely left the girls alone (though the guards couldn't help but make attempts at taunting them every so often).
The ship hit a rough patch of sea at one point in time, but eventually it made it through safe and sound. They weren't immediately heading for Australia, though that was the ultimate destination--Sao Feng was making a stopover in Singapore to check in on his holdings there. He had been gone too long, and his paranoia was starting to kick in.

Singapore.
Sorelli didn't know why, but the mention of the name gave her a weird feeling--as though she should know it, have some connection to it. Which was ridiculous. She'd never been there in her life--she'd spent most of her days in either Italy or France. What could there possibly be there that would have even a sliver of a hold on her?

**HOPE YOU'RE COOL WITH THE FACT THAT YOU REALLY NEED TO BE IN SINGAPORE, LIKE RIGHT NOW, BECAUSE RAOUL REALLY NEEDS TO RESCUE HIS WIFE ALREADY, ITS BECOMING RIDICULOUS**
*And Singapore was where Raoul de Chagny had ended up, ragged and tired but nowhere near giving up, looking for his wife. He'd moved past Persia and somehow, over land, arrived in the far eastern city before a ship--the ship--was due to.*
*He'd made it to Persia on dubious information, and the same went for this ship, where evidently all of the married women had been taken. But Johanna was his wife--nobody else's--and he would not stand to lose her. The benefit of being spoiled rotten as a child was that you learned to get what you want by whatever means necessary, and it was only a genuinely good heart which had kept him from becoming a complete bastard.*
*When he finally began to hear the whispers--the Empress had put in--it didn't take long for him to move. Armed with a rapier and a fine pistol, at odds with his worn clothes, he set out to get Johanna back--no matter the cost. He only prayed she would be there.*
*He ended up talking to a guard and making inquiries--discreetly. He'd always had a knack for languages, and in the past few weeks of waiting he'd made some friends. He was strange--silent and Western--but generally an amiable fellow who could hold his alcohol. He'd learned a lot from these inside men and was waiting for his moment.*

Sao Feng, as it would happen, had chosen on the second day in port to visit his headquarters in Singapore to make sure all of his affairs were in order. There was a lot to do, it seemed, especially since one of his lesser lieutenants had decided that he could try for a power grab will Feng was gone.
Unfortunately for the lieutenant, the Dragon of Singapore had returned.
This meant, however, that Feng would be occupied for the better part of the day as he cleaned house.

*Raoul managed to recognize his opportunity when it presented itself. He made his way to the docks, avoiding prostitutes, beggars, and all manner of lowlifes before finally reaching the water's edge and looking intently at the Empress. Johanna was in that boat, and he was going to get her out. It was quite as simple as that. With most of the crew gone to enjoy the spoils they'd accumulated at sea, and those left on the boat asleep in the afternoon heat, he snuck on silently, armed with his rapier and pistol just in case.*
*It didn't take long to find the only locked cabin on board, but jimmying the lock with a cravat pin was a different story. His cravats were long since soiled, but the pin itself had presented possibilities-- and had proven its mettle. The door swung open.*
((Tag girls? Guards? Someone?))

*Johanna cringed away from the door when she heard it open, trying to shield herself and Sorelli*

"Johanna?" *Came a soft voice. He pushed the door open properly and suddenly his heart felt like it might burst and break all at once. He was finally here; he had finally found her; but to see her like this...*

*There was a momentary stillness, then she looked up as if seeing a ghost*
"Raoul...it can't be..."

*He extended a hand to help her up.*
"I'll always come for you. You should know that." *He said, unable to keep from smiling just a little bit.*

*Johanna's face lit up*
"I knew it! I knew you'd come for me!"
*She turned to Sorelli*
"I told you he'd come for us!"

Sorelli was dumbfounded. The last thing she would have expected would have been a rescue.
"You're right...I..." She hazarded a smile. "You're right."

"Mademoiselle." *He said, nodding to Sorelli. It appeared that, even in the bowels of a dirty pirate ship in Singapore, Raoul de Chagny couldn't help his manners.* "It would behoove us to depart quickly, as the captain is otherwise occupied and I don't know how long that will last. Also, the guards were sleeping when I last checked, but that can always change."

Sorelli nodded, getting quickly to her feet.
"Yes, we can talk later."

*There was no time for a proper reunion--he took Johanna's hand and led her out, back the way he'd come and onto the upper deck. He didn't question that his wife had picked up the other woman as a companion; he rarely questioned. As long as she didn't slow them down.*

*Johanna was still in a bit of a daze*
"But the others..."
