*The day was grey and cool, perfect for an outdoor lunch with a warm, cozy sweater.
Lois walked towards a set table in the well manicured garden of the Wayne manor and sat down. She pulled her sweater closer and looked around, slightly envious of it all.*

*Bruce, dressed in more casual attire this time (and sporting a sweater as well), ambled into the garden not long after Lois. He raised an eyebrow at the tablesetting*
"Remind me to give Alfred a raise."

"Or maybe a vacation," *she said with a laugh.*

*He chuckled*
"I'll offer both up to him."
*He pulled out a chair for Lois*
"Ladies first."

"Thanks," *she said, then took a seat.*
"So, anything interesting going on that I could write about?" *she asked.*

*He sat down opposite, unfolding the napkin that was set out*
"Well, according to my stockbrokers Stark Industries' stock took a downturn, and Harvey Dent of Gotham is in Paris."

*A piece of lettuce from the salad was half way to her mouth when she stopped.*
"Seriously?" *she gaped.* "I mean the stock part not the Dent part. I knew about... Dent-- but Stark Industries? How many points?"

"[Something a bit surprising]. Apparently they have no confidence in the current leadership's ability to keep things going without Mr. Stark around."

"Wow, that'll probably screw with their bottomline for a few quarters. I'm sure investors are having a field day with all of that," *she said, picturing all the enraged stock holders screaming into their phones and all the stock brokers scurrying around the floors of the NYSE.*
*Lois casually glanced at him then back down to her salad with a grin.*
"You... don't exactly seem bummed out," *she said, quickly eating the greens that were on her fork.*

"Well, I definitely feel bad for the stock-holders," he said sincerely...though it was undermined by the gleam in his eye.
"Then again, can't complain when Wayne Enterprises ends up the favorite."

*Lois nodded in agreement.*
"You'd be a liar if you said otherwise," *she said with an almost mischevious grin.*

"Sometimes, you've just got to be honest about things."

"What did you guys talk about when he was here?" *she asked, oblivious.*

*Bruce, though not oblivious, faked it*
"Who did I talk to?"

"Stark. I met him in the ballroom and he--"
*Lois stopped in the middle of her sentence as she realized.*
"You... didn't know," *she mumbled.*
