((True that.))
"It's quite all right." *William said gently.* "I think I might know just what you mean. As if it saturates the very halls itself." *He smiled. For in truth, it made sense to him that something as vibrant as music should be able to haunt a place long after the performers left.*

"Yes, yes that's it" he nodded "exactly."
He felt his stomach churn a bit, reminding him, that he had yet to feed that night. He would have to be leaving this man quite soon.

*There was the hint of something vague, but it concerned William. He warred briefly with his British stoicism before asking.*
"Are you all right, sir?" *His supportive smile didn't fade.*

"I'm afraid that I've yet to eat today and feel a bit faint, but it's nothing, really" he smiled softly "do not worry."

*But William did worry if he was keeping the man selfishly.*
"Forgive me. I'm happy to take my leave. Or...if you would rather, let me make it up to you by buying your meal."

Louis swallowed, it was growing harder and harder everyday for him. He pushed away the hunger by feeding on animals and vermin, but it simply wasn't enough.
He smiled "I'm afraid that I must decline" Louis extended a hand to him, his long nails scraping softly against his side "hopefully we shall meet again Mr. Aubrey."

*William hoped he hadn't offended the man, seeing as most people wouldn't pass up a free meal, but...perhaps he had previous engagements. He took his hand, surprised by the coolness of it.*
"It would be my pleasure. And I will be around."
*He smiled and glanced about them.*

Louis held on a moment longer, he could feel the blood pumping through the veins of the mans hand. Licking his lips he smiled nervously "Wonderful, till then" he placed his hat on his head and made his way toward the door.

*William watched him go, a bit sadder when he was gone. And yet, there was still hope that he had time. He was home after all. There would be plenty of beautiful people to meet.*
