*María laughed.*
"No, in my family we have a lot of Isabelles, Izabellas and even a Jezebel. My sick cousin is still in her home. This is a relative from further out in the family. I am a very remoted relative of the Plantagenets, on my father's side of the family. This Isabelle is more royal than I am, though, at least when it comes to her bloodline."

"Oh." *William answered, into his teacup.*
"Wait...Plantagenet? As in...Richard III?"
*Not him again.*

*María laughed and looked over at him.*
"Richard III? Oh, him! We are from a sideline of his family. Isabelle is a bit closer related to him than I am though, even if neither of us belong to his nearest family. I mean, we don't visit or send Christmas cards. My family belongs to the French branch of the Plantagenets."

"Oh." *Will hadn't come across any of those in his research, but he hadn't expected to find any anyways.*
"Well, that should be nice for you though. A visit with someone close." *He managed a smile.*

*María smiled.*
"Well, as you might have guessed, I love having visitors. The more, the merrier. What do you think of them so far?"

*Will pursed his lips and sipped his tea.*
"I will reserve judgement, for the time being." *He offered.*
"I am glad that you have friends among the living though."

*María smiled and placed her hand gently over his.*
"I am glad I have friends, no matter where they belong."

*Will glanced at her hand, smiling gently before lifting his away to tuck back his hair.*
"Still. A flower like yourself will blossom more fully if you are not trapped with shadows and shades."

*María smiled back, blushing when he called her a flower.*
"Will, certain of the shadows I'm surrounded with, are shadows I don't want to do without."
*She looked up at him, then lowered her gaze.*

*Will pursed his lips, not sure where she was going with this. Or that he wanted to know.*
"It's just...I want you to be happy. You deserve to be happy."
With your own kind.

*María smiled sadly.*
"I am as happy as I can be, Will. At least when it comes to my current predicaments."

*What could he say to that? Will glanced to her plate.*
"I should let you eat. Don't want the eggs to get cold." *With that, he returned to his own.*

*María smiled and continued her breakfast in silence, enjoying his company. It felt safe to have him here. Now and then she looked shyly up at him over her breakfast. Her eyes were glittering. She wondered if she would have met him if she had lived at his time.*

*Once finished, Will wiped his mouth with his napkin.*
"Thank you. That was quite enjoyable. Pierre would have been proud." *He smiled.* "Or worried for the sake of his job."

*María chuckled with laughter.*
"Thank you. But I doubt I will ever fire Pierre. I am way too weak for his plum pudding for Christmas. And a lot of his other meals."
*She took the tray of mail that was laying beside her on the table.*
"I have some letters I have to read through, but do you want to read the newspaper?"
*On the tray, next to the bunch of letters, were a couple of newspapers.*
