((Yeeeeaaah. XD))
"Oh...no. I don't think so." She gave Lavinia an apologetic look.
"It's just...I know my own kind. They'd take your...your appearance as a cue to hurt you."

Lavinia shuddered on cue. If sleepily.
It is not...uncommon, among any kind. But I understand. Peeping, she gave Maria a sleepy look of gratitude. I am most tired.

It finally filtered through that pretty little head that Lavinia was, y'know, tired.
"Oh! I'm sorry, I don't mean to keep you up!"
She unlocked the door to the room quickly, pushing it open.

Lavinia gave her a smile and stumbling along in.
I can't remember when last I slept in... Was the vague sound of this just normal French or was she getting a little funny-sounding? This was terribly difficult. She needed practice. Bed.

"Sleep in all you like. I'll be sleeping most of the day any way. But feel free to wander the grounds, though there isn't much to see."
She turned down the bedsheets.

Lavinia, arms balanced a little bit behind her like a dancer - as they were mostly useless, she tended to hold them in odd ways - , tilted her head forward to kiss Maria lingeringly on the cheek in a very sweet way, her smile momentarily radiant enough to make her look less drowsy than she was. It was such a simple thing, but so thoughtful, helping her into bed when her stumps could doubtless not grasp the covers! She momentarily forgot she could speak telepathically, and rather than saying thank you as she now could, had chosen to thank Maria in the only way she remembered how.
Funny, it was a more articulate and sincere way than the words themselves could have done.
((I shall say that her thread with Tybalt and Mercutio wherein there are zombies and she's at a cafe happens the next day while she's wandering.))

((Sounds good about the plots!)) Maria grinned at the gesture, appreciating it for what it was--not everything needed words to be conveyed, after all. She kissed Lavinia's cheek. "I'll see you tomorrow night. "

Lavinia smiled still, but did not feel it was rude when her mode of consciousness changed and she turned into the pillows and shut her eyes. She was asleep in moments. Although a light sleeper, she had learned, over the many centuries, to sleep quickly.

**NEW DAY. UM, NIGHT**
Due to Maria's vampiric nature, it was some time before Lavinia found herself able to communicate with her, but she had been bounding around outside Maria's room for some time now and rushed to her the moment she appeared, not even giving herself a chance to clear her head, so that a jumble of Latin was the only thing she said to Maria at all, and had to stop and think a moment.
Her panic, or maybe just her excitement, for while she was still terrified that they'd get to this part of Paris, she had not thought of the zombies as immediately frightening for several hours and was now more eager to speak of them than desperate to hide.

Maria blinked at the onrush of words, trying to sort them out while at the same time trying to completely wake up. One word, at least, filtered through.
"Whuh...zombies?"

How or why she knew the word, she didn't know. But, simply because she had no hands to clasp over Maria's arm and cling to her - which she would have done if she could - she simply stayed at Maria's side, bouncing in place frantically.
Yes yes zombies zombies in Paris attack cafe Tybalt man run run from zombies.

She glanced at the Parisian skyline that stuck up beyond the trees near the roadside.
"Whoa...when did that happen?"
Tybalt's named sounded familiar, but thanks to a combination of sleepiness and her own flightly nature, she couldn't recall where she'd heard it before.

Lavinia shrugged very quickly and then stayed still, eyes big and glassy and fixed on Maria.
She finally managed to string these words into sentences, explicitly. I have never seen them in Paris before. I went to a cafe today when they were seen out in the streets. People ran. I do not know what happened to them. I hid. Then I heard voices and went out. There were two men talking. We ran together. Tybalt took me home. She seemed to muse for a moment and then mull over this last sentence in various ways again in her head, less obtrusively, but still "out loud", as it were.

She once again glanced at the distant skyline, her expression a bit troubled.
"I didn't think they existed here...though really, I shouldn't be surprised."
She turned back to Lavinia.
"You're all right? They didn't get hold of you?"
As fandumb as she could be at times, even Maria remembered that it was bad to get bitten by a zombie.

No. Tried. They're very slow. She couldn't imagine how it would work out if they weren't slow, if they managed intelligence... This thought made her shiver.
