*Frowning, Gawain leaned forward to grab up the tortoise again. Once it was in his hands, his smile returned.*

*Merlin chuckled with laughter.*
"There you go, sweetie. All you need is a little friend, isn't it?"

*Gawain shook the tortoise for a moment, then sent it clattering to the stone floor again with a smile.*

((I figured since she didn't rest, she'd end up back in the same thread, since just just manifest going there and back.))
*Dracula found himself in a room, but was unhappy to find that it was day here and he quickly stepped back into the shadows with a hiss, trying to protect himself.*

((That's right. She will always be with Gawain, ready to protect him, when Merlin is not there.))
*Malefica looked at her husband, and quickly understood his problem. She looked warmly up at him.*
"Oh, I am so sorry. Let me take care of the sunlight for you."
*She went to the window and pulled the blinds, shadowing for the sunlight. Now the room was shady and nice. Malefica turned to her husband and smiled again.*
"There, isn't this much better?"

((In my imagination the Nursery consists of twoo rooms that connects to each other, and a bathroom )) *When Merlin heard Malefica's voice, he picked up Gawain and carried him into the room where Malefica and Dracula was. Not noticing Dracula in the shadows at first, he started adressing Malefica, with a sense of humor in his voice.* "Well, it's about time you showed up. You saved that poor little tortoise from developing a healthy phobia for babies. Gawain has been tossing him across the room all day!" *Then he noticed Dracula. His body tensed, and he held Gawain protectively.* "Oh, sorry. I didn't know we had company."

*Malefica smiled when she saw her adoptive father and her son.*
"Merlin, Gawain, this is my husband, Count Vladislaus Dracula."
*Then she turned to her husband.*
"Vladislaus, this is my adoptive father, the wizard Merlin, more like a father to me. And this is my beloved son, Gawain."
*Her face was glowing with happiness and motherly pride.*

*Dracula felt a little better with the light blocked, but it still felt a bit awkward to him. When the others entered, he bowed formally to the sage.*
"It is an honor, sir."
*His eyes shifted to the child in his arms. Beautiful indeed, nearly angelic. It didn't look like there was anything wrong from this distance, not that he could see much with the manner the wizard held him so defensively.*
"I am here to help, if I am able."

*Gawain just gurgled softly and reached for his mother.*

"It is OK, Merlin. Vladislaus would never hurt my children."
*Merlin snorted, but Malefica smiled warmly and lifted Gawain up in her arms. She held him close to her heart and kissed him lovingly. Her voice was mild and filled with love as she spoke to her child.*
"Hi sweetheart. Momma missed you so much. How are you today?"

*Malefica laughed and kissed him, then she turned to her husband, proudly.*
"Now, what do you think?"
*She smiled to him, and her eyes were glittering. She looked happier than ever.*
((She always look happier than ever when she is with her children. They are the joy of her life))

*Dracula took a step closer, looking the child over.*
"He's beautiful. Like his mother."
*He smiled up at her, though in the near vicinity of the child he looked paler than normal.*
"What seems to be the problem?"

*Malefica blushed deeply and smiled when she heard her husband call her son beautiful, and also when he gave her the compliment about her own looks.*
"Well, thank you. I am very proud of him. But yesterday he had me worried. We were out on a picnic. First we took a horse to the lake, then we took the sailboat to the beach. Gawain acted in a way that made me think he was seasick. But he didn't complaint. Unfortunately, he also refused to eat. He seemed happy when we saw the tortoise on the beach, and he crawled after it! He has never crawled before. Then I took him swimming, and in the middle of the sea, he suddenly started crying. And no matter what I did, he didn't stop. And according to Merlin, he has also spent this morning by tossing around a tortoise."

*Dracula's brow arched.*
"And? He seems fine now. What part concerns you?""
