((She can't see through his disguise, she is very shy of strangers in general Even Helen would have made her tremble. )) Moonshade hesitated. Even if he was taller than her and it frightened her, she knew there were orcs in the area. If the humans ran into them they would have no chance of survival. She had not seen the wolves fighting back the orcs earlier, so she had no idea they would have survived anyhow. The human woman, however, seemed fragile. Moonshade blushed and looked up at Kiba again. "Well, you could come with me to my village. It is not very far from here... We have food and water enough, and my tribe is known for their hospitality."

"That sounds all right. Tsume, Helen--let's go," Kiba told them. "Helen, do you need a ride?"

Helen went over to Kiba as soon as he called her. She snuggled close to him and looked up at him.
"I would love a ride."
She whispered and looked up at him.
"But does she know you are a wolf?"

"I don't know," he shrugged as he let her climb onto his back. "Probably not."

Helen climbed onto his back and held on to him. She couldn't help for pressing her body closer than necessary to his for a moment as she caressed his hair gently.

Ordinarily, the alpha would have a very well-defined personal space--which for Kiba was about a foot--and lower-ranking pack members would be expected to stay out of that space. But since he was carrying Helen anyway, and humans liked physical contact (especially her, seeing as she was stroking his head), he supposed there was no helping it.

((Good one ;D Since I control both Moonshade and Helen, I let them both reply in this post. ))
Helen held on to Kiba, and looked over at the other girl.
Moonshade turned and started following a narrow path down the hill. She walked slower than elves usually do, to make sure the humans and wolves could keep up with her.
In the horison of the direction they were taking, was a small Elven Village. Some houses were hidden in the trees. Others were on the ground, but blended in so well with the landscape, that they were not visible, unless someone knew the houses were there, and came looking for them.

"Hmm," Tsume glanced around. "This looks WAY different from all the other cities we've been to."

*Moonshade looked at Tsume with a smile.*
"This is not a city. Only a small Elven village. The capital of Lorien is far away. Welcome to the village of Ered Lúin. We are all elves here. We live close to the nature, and try to live in peace and harmony with one another."

"Whatever--as long as nobody minds me and Kiba hunting, we're fine."

Moonshade smiled and looked over at Tsume.
"Oh, they will not mind. In this part of the country, we are hunters and gatherers ourselves."

"Yeah, well..." Tsume paused a moment. "Me and Kiba probably don't hunt like you guys do."

Moonshade looked over at him.
"My people aim their longbows to kill immediately, so our prey will not suffer. We only take what we need to survive, and only when it is necessary. Unlike the humans, we do not kill for joy."

"You're thinking too much," Tsume told her disapprovingly. "Hunting for joy? Just because we don't hunt like you doesn't mean we kill half our prey just for kicks--" Tsume stopped upon Kiba's warning glare.
He stayed quiet until the other broke eye contact, then went on. "I was going to say that we don't like others coming with us or barging in when we hunt. Prey wasn't easy to find before we came to this place."

Moonshade looked over at Tsume, not understanding his disapproval. Was it wrong of her people to use their brains when they were hunting? She was still a very young girl, getting all her food from her parents.
"There are no need to fight over food here. We have lots of prey in our forests and lakes. My people won't chase you away."
