"I'm just about kind enough," Harry reminded her, responding eagerly to her kiss, one hand sliding into her hair as the other pressed the two of them together to guide them to the narrow bed that was all Henry had assumed he'd need.

*She chuckled into the kiss as she pulled him down with her...*

**FADE IN**
Harry felt simultaneously clear-headed, alive, and deliciously tired. It was altogether a most satisfying combination, he thought as he lay wreathed in Lucille's unbound hair, one arm draped over her. His fingers traced lazy, complicated patterns on her skin.
"Brilliant, my dear," he murmured. "And not one regret do I have, save that you must needs leave me at some point."

*She snuggled against him, eyes half-closed from contentment*
"I would say the same. I'd much rather just stay here, and not move at all."

So much easier, this way, than Henry's. It was enough to make Harry doubt himself for a moment--Henry would be furious, of course, but Harry couldn't for the life of him see the wrong in this. No, he wasn't Hyde.
Though that raised a disturbing question about just what Hyde meant.
"You can. For the present, anyway. I have no prior engagements."

*A part of her, the part that was still Lucy, didn't want to leave ever. Didn't want to deal with Dracula, and vampires, and what the potion might hold in store. She just wanted this.
Lucille, as per usual, quickly shoved Lucy back down*
"I'll stay, then. At least until sunrise--you can understand why." She said with a wink.

"And I thank you for that," he said, rising slightly to lean his head on his hand and look down at her. "What's it like? Do you mind me asking? The vampire thing."

"Oh, I don't mind at all."
*She propped her chin in one hand*
"It...almost defies words. Certainly, you are stronger and faster than you once were. I can even hear thoughts at times, but not always. I don't know how to control that....yet.
There's more to that, though. It's rather difficult to say, unless you were one, would be hard to get it all across."

Could it be, thought Harry, that vampirism was merely another permutation of humanity, like Hyde was, like he was? Certainly, there were some similarities; heightened abilities in some regions, deficiencies in others.
"I don't think it would suit me just now," he said, smiling softly. "I think I understand, at least the outline."

"I think words fail me, at least for now. Though if that's because of no adequate way to describe it, or I am distracted."
*She was grinning*

Harry ran his hand along her side.
"I cannot argue with that," he said. "Provided I am the distraction."

"Mmmyes," she said, idly tracing patterns on his chest with her finger.
"I'd say you're distracting."

"Well that's reassuring. Truth be told, you make focusing slightly difficult yourself," he said. He leaned in close to her ear, nipping the lobe slightly.
"Are you up for being distracted again?"

"Why thank you...I try to be."
*She closed her eyes at the attention*
"And I certainly wouldn't mind more of it."

Harry chuckled.
"You don't have to try, my dear," he said, and he proceeded to distract her, in an slower but no less passionate manner.
