*He readied himself quickly and made his way down the stables. They had better take the mare he decided, she was of a fair gentler temperament that the rest of the horses. *

*Becca came not long after, her usual sprightly gait slowed by her girth and awkward lack of balance. She shuffled into the stables and smiled apologetically.*

*Philippe turned around when he heard her approach.*
"Well." *He paused.*
"Now, let us see if this shall work."

"The unbalanced leading the blind, is it?" *she teased, coming nearer and taking his hand in hers.*

*Worryingly he had considered that. With a little help from a groom he managed to position the both of them on the horse in reasonable comfort.*
"There, now I confess I have reached the end of my uses. I shall stop you falling though I can do nothing else."

*She leaned her head back against his shoulder with a grin.*
"You're all I need," *she said softly, taking the reins in her hands and clicking her tongue softly to the horse, who began to move at a slow walk.*
((*resists the urge to have her fall off the horse, anyway*))

((If you do it, I'll kill him on the spot )) *The sensation of riding without being able to see was not entirely a pleasant one. Still, he thought as the horse gained speed it was what she wanted. And there was that feeling in his stomach that he couldn't, no wouldn't place.*

((...could work. And then she'd go into all kind of trauma-induced labour...? It's Their Day, anyway. We'd just be cutting it short...er.))
*Becca took things more slowly than she would have liked, but she still enjoyed the relative freedom, and the time alone with Philippe, just being comfortable together. She realized they hadn't spent this much time together in a while.*

((Yeah and I think it might be their limit on angst away.))
"Soon you shall ride alone again."
*He stated, holding tighter to her.*

*Rebecca clung to him, his arm laid against her body where their child kicked vigorously.*
"...I still prefer riding with you," *she said quietly.*
((So...to fall, or not to fall?))

((No, I think it would be cruel. It should be little less harsh.))
*Philippe kissed her ear.*
"I am glad."
*He was silent for a moment.*
"If you wish we could head to the edge of the woods, the staff have prepared something there for us."

((Yeah. They need more beautiful moments and lingering sad golden time together.))
"Oh, have they?" *she said with a grin.* "You're a great one for surprises." *She tugged gently on the reins, and the horse took them in the direction he had suggested.*

*When they arrived a blanket and basket were laid out in the shade under a tree. Philippe dismounted and turned to help her down.*
"Am I right to assume that there is something there?, I would feel rather foolish if there was not."

"There's something there," *she assured him, not letting go of his hand after she had dismounted with some awkwardness. She led him over to the blanket and made him sit before she took off her boots and sat beside him, turning to begin unpacking the basket. She removed sliced cold meat, cheese, pate, mustard, bread, fruit, nuts, a bottle of cold milk and a large bottle of fresh well water.*
"Are you hungry?"

*He shook his head.*
"Not much, though I shall endevour to eat."
*He stretched himself out onto the blanket, glad of the warmth afforded by the weather. He did get so easily weary, it was as if he was sleeping his youth as well as his present.*
