*Dewshine looked up at him. He was tall, and... she almost thought... dark. She looked curiously at his wings, and his lean, starved shape. Her heart filled with compassion. Hadn't anyone brough him anything to eat at all?
With tears in her eyes she bent down over the chains, and hit the rock hard against them, several times.*

Tyldak's eyes widened eagerly until the links of the chain finally came apart with a dull clank, and the bird-elf lept forward, hobbling quickly past the Wolfrider, working his great winged arms in frantic motion--though he had been chained, he had worked his wings every day to keep them supple and ready for flight, so that he would not forget how to use them. Within another moment, he took clumsy flight, low over the floor of the cavern and was soon out of sight through the dark, making his way to the surface.

*Dewshine ran after him out of the cave as quick as she could. She had no difficulties keeping up with him. She came to the surface as well, relieved to get out of the darkness in the cave.
The sun was shining on her golden curls, and made her blue eyes glitter. She turned to him and asked.*
"Can you really fly?"

Can you not see, cubling! I am flying now--weak as I am!
His sendings were getting stronger, now, they would echo in the Wolfrider's head almost painfully. He landed on the soft earth, still blinking in the bright sunlight, and stretched his lanky frame, shaking one large clawed foot which still held the remains of his shackle. He folded his wings up in front of himself, his chest heaving in the fresh air. Now shown in the light, he was filthy and ragged, the scrap of fur clothing that was draped over him for modesty was worn through and ready to part from his body.
You will now bring me food, and drink.

*Dewshine heard his thoughts ringing painfully inside her head. There was a gentle pout on her lips.*
Ok, ok, there's no need to SHOUT!!! I can see you were flying.
*She wrinkled her nose in disgust when she saw how filthy and ragged he was. When he commanded her to bring her food and drink, she frowned. She didn't like his commanding tone. She didn't like to be commanded at all.*
"Errrr.... How about a bath instead? Like.... with soap?"

He took a threatening step toward the diminutive elf, opening up his wings to increase his size.
Broken from my prison, and the curse that surrounds it--I will starve to death in hours! Would you like that, little tree-climber? I will bathe later! Bring me food now!

*Dewshine was not used to this kind of manners. She stared at him in disbelief at first. Then she slowly got angry, and her frown deepened.*
I am NOT your slave! And your manners doesn't frighten me in the least. I will NOT bring you food until you bathe!

Tyldak refolded his wings, covering his painfully thin body again and stepping back, his wide eyes flashing with anger.
You would rather I smell of flowers--do you not listen, child? I will starve and quickly without the magic that was keeping me alive. But if it will bring you such joy to see me waste before your very eyes, then very well! Point me to open water and I will wash!

*Dewshine pointed to the river that was floating below them. It was a calm river, and the water was never cold there. There were green meadows all around.*
Down there. And I'll see what food and water I can get when you bathe. There is a bar of soap under the little rock by the river.
*She looked at him again. He would probably need clothing as well, but she didn't have any to bring him. Yet.*

With another snarl over his shoulder to the small cubling, he pushed up into the air and spread his wings, gliding over to the river's edge, landing, and shedding the poor remains of his single piece of clothing before wading awkwardly into the water. Of course, not having hands, he had no way to use the soap, but the flowing water should be enough to wash away his grime.

*Dewshine ran quickly towards the place the Elves hung their clothes for drying. Luckily the place was empty. She grabbed the first thing she could get hold on and ran quickly to the river. Not wanting to see him without clothes she turned her head away from him as she hung the sheet she had grabbed on a bush. She shouted over her shoulder as she ran back:*
"Remember to use your soap. I'll bring you some food in the meanwhile!"

Tyldak growled and eyed the bar of soap, sending it a glare as he sunk down into the cool--but not cold--water, feeling years of dirt, sweat, and general grime lift off of him and wash away down the river. He turned to see the sheet--indignity!--lain across the bush, and growled again. How was he supposed to put it on? His thin stomach growled painfully and he curled over a bit in the water, wishing the infernal girl would hurry up.

*Dewshine snuck into her familys house and snuck away with some freshly baked lembas, some fruit and vegetables and some cake. On impulse she took one of her father's leather belts with her. She also ran to the well and filled a bottle with fresh, cold drinking water, before running off to the river again. Not looking at him, she placed the leather belt over the bush, and the food and water on the ground. She went further away and turned her back to him, so she wouldn't see when he came up from the water.*
"I have found the food and water you wanted. And a belt for your clothes. I promise not to look when you come out of the water!"

A ~sheet is hardly "clothes" His sending grumbled angrily and he emerged from the water a short while later, clumsily figuring out a way to secure the sheet around himself with the belt.
Where is the food?

*Dewshine frowned. She did not like his manners at all. Living with her parents she didn't understand the nature of starvation. She had never starved in her life, and did not know what misery such hunger causes, also in moods.*
Hey grandpa! I brought you the first I could get my paws on without being caught! And as for the food, it's on the riverbank beside the bush.
