Jay straightened his tie and walked in to the inn, he smiled at the bustling scene. He had totally forgot what room Sarah had said she was in.
But he was sure someone would know.
He stood in front of the desk and hit a bell, he hadn't remembered ever being there.

((OMG. THE TITLE. I LOVE YOU))
*Of course, the person that appeared just then was Sarah herself--looking (and feeling) a bit nervous, but smiling. She was wearing the one bit of dressy that she'd taken with her to the 'verse, a simple black dress that looked elegant inspite of it's simplicity*
"Hello, Jay."

((*bows*))
Jay allowed his jaw to drop slightly before flashing that smile, you know what smile I'm talking about.
"Sarah" he grinned.

*She grinned, then toned it down, then grinned again. Her face was going to hurt at his rate*
"You look great." She said.

*She could feel the blush before it even happened*
"Oh, hehe, thanks. But really, you aren't so bad yourself."

"Now we could stand here and compliment each other all evening" he leaned out an elbow for her t take "or we can get it started."

*She chuckled, taking his arm*
"I think I'd rather get started."

He smiled and brought her out to a waiting open carriage. He'd much have preferred a car, but he had yet to find one in the time, that suited him.
He took her hand and helped her in skillfully, and followed suit, he leaned forward and whispered something in the drivers ear and sat back, his hand instinctively holding hers.

*Being a child of the late 20th century (wholly and completely, really) riding around in a carriage was a novelty thing for her. She didn't mind doing what she deemed "cool"*
"This is nice. I usually only ever walk to places around here."
Or teleport, but that didn't work quite right last time...

"I thought it might be nice, I haven't ridden in an open carriage since I was a little boy" he said softly.

*She gave him a kiss on the cheek as the carriage set off*
"I think it's wonderful."

He grinned "I hoped you'd like it" he set his arm around her shoulders as they made their way toward the restaurant.

**NEW NIGHT**
*At last, Gatsby and Sarah returned to the inn. They weren't indoors for more than a minute or two when she pointed to the kitchen.*
"Cheeseburger, eh?"
