*Eleanor entered with Wild, feeling a bit daunted but refusing to let it show*

*Wild joined the room. Her parents belonged to the Upper Classes of the Dark High Elves. The family were known for their skills in Black magic, so many of the noble ladies in the throne room got nervous hickups by the sight of Wild. Wildfeather escorted the Queen to the throne chair, and offered her to sit. She placed herself standing next to Eleanor, facing the court. She smiled wickedly, a hidden threat to everyone that might dare to offend the queen.*

*Eleanore smiled at Wild and then at the assembly as she sat down*
"Greetings. My husband will be along soon. Do you have anything to speak to us about?"

*POSTING AS THE LADIES AT THE COURT*
*A lady of human blood, with a pointy nose and glasses, looked up at her and giggled maliciously. Wildfeather narrowed her eyes and mumbled something between her teeth, and the lady started coughing violently and had to leave the room. Wild turned her eyes to the ladies again.*
"Anyone else?" *She asked.*

*She smiled again at the ladies*
"Now, I know some of you don't like me, and I'm not going to try to convince you otherwise. You don't have to want me here. But I will ask you to be respectful, and I will serve you all as best I can."

*Wild poked her in the side and whispered discreetly.*
"Don't say that. They are going to show you respect. Our etiquette demands it. A queen should be well respected, and you have to demand it from the very beginning. Or they will never stop hating you."

"Asking is considered polite, even if there is no choice being offered. But thank you."

*Wildfeather smiled and looked out over the ladies at court. Fearing the mild threat in Wild's eyes they all knelt down before Eleanors feet, greeting her as a queen.*
"We just wanted to welcome you to Lorien as our queen."
*They said. Some of the elf ladies also invited the queen to tea parties at their castles.*

*Eleanor made conversation with the ladies, only slightly self-conscious about her accent. She was a charming woman, and some of the women in the room warmed up to her.*

*Wild stayed close to Eleanor during the visit, carefully watching the ladies that didn't warm up to Eleanor's charm. She knew there would be enough problems in Lorien anyways, without this hostility.*

Although someone else opened the door for him, Steerpike rushed up the aisle to the throne and sat down heavily. His circlet was a bit askew on his hair, and he had, in general, all the signs of a sleepless night (for whatever reason) on his face.

*She turned to her husband, smiling. Against all odds, her first day had been going well. Although there were still some dissenters, many of the women had grudgingly started to like her.*

*Wild moved quiet and discreetly up behind Steerpike, and straightened his crown. She made it look like she was straighening his hair and clothes, so nobody should find it suspicious. Then she smiled.*
"If your Majesty is ready, the Countess has asked what should be done with the prisoners in the dungeons."

He smiled, a little grimly, and put his hand on Eleanor's.
