Angelique was wearing a long white dress, it was thinner than she normally wore, but it was all she could find at the time. Her curly hair had gone awry in a million different places, but she couldn't care. She had locked herself away for a week in her room at the Blakeney residence.
After Ms. Harvey had let out Reese (although somehow got her back in) she has been afraid that she would come out. But since then, she hasn't heard a word from her other. And she was frightened.
But she couldn't stay inside forever. Deciding to take a walk she stumbled on to the restaurant and decided to have a look around.
((I don't normally write that much, but I felt like it, no nyah... hehe))

*Jeremy looked up from his hammering in the new addition. Thinking that he had heard the bell over the door ring he hopped down from the scaffolding and poked his head through the curtain separating the two areas. Spying the woman in white in his dining room he grinned and stepped in, dusting his hands off on his jeans.*
"Howdy... sorry about the mess. Adding on and I'm doing most of the work myself. What can I get you?"
*He was making his way to the sink as he spoke to wash the sawdust and grime from his hands.*

"Oh no, it's, it's fine." She sat down carefully as not to catch her dress "Oh I don't know" she gave a weak smile "assuming you are also the cook, what's your favorite thing to make?"

*Putting on a fresh apron Jeremy dried his hands and stepped up to the kitchen side of the counter.*
"Yeah I don't think I've got the supplies to do the whole list. I'm the kinda guy who will pick all of the above in situations like this. But I can whip up some American South comfort food, cajun, a smattering of Italian and maybe a few other things. Don't really go in for planned out menus around here... oh and sit anywhere you like."
*He offers a wink as he starts filling up a chilled glass with water.*
"Though quality of service is directly related to how far I have to walk."

She smiled a bit wider now and placed her hand over her mouth in an effort to supress a laugh "Amazing monsieur" she placed her hand on her chin and her other hand on her elbow, in a thoughtful manner "well how about uhh, oh gosh I'm neva good at making decisions. I like fish."
She blushed.

*Smiling he brought the glass of water to her.*
"Hmmm fish I can do... Do you like spice? Or should I keep things tame? And sides... anything you dislike or don't eat?"
*He returned to the open kitchen and began searching through the food stocks. Poking his head back over the counter he grins waiting her answer.*

Sipping on the water she continued to think "I like spices, actually the more the merrier" giggling she took another sip of the water "I can not eat tomatos, I'm allergic, other than that, I'm fine with anything."
She smiled softly and rummaged through her purse making sure she brought her coin purse.

*Jeremy nods and starts heating a well seasoned cast iron skillet.*
"Hmm... blackened salmon... how about some cheesy rice, maybe some bacon stuffed mushrooms and some steamed asparagus with a butter garlic sauce?"
*Grabbing various pots and pans Jeremy goes to work getting everything started.*

*Smiling, happy to have an appreciative audience, Jeremy tossed plenty of butter in various pots. He winks again and motions toward the butter.*
"Kinda a big part of my cooking... not to mention my personal crusade to steer the women of Paris towards a curvier healthier look."
*Pulling out a large knife and a even larger hunk of salmon Jeremy goes to work.*
"So are you a local?"

Angelique smiled "I must say the women here are far too skinny" sighing she looked up at the ceiling "I-I'm from London."

*Stirring the contents of the pan Jeremy looked up.*
"You know... I've been here for almost a year and I'm not sure I've met a single person born in Paris."
*Tasting a sauce he adds a bit more cream and some pepper, tossing some garlic and onions into another.*
"I'm from Texas myself."

"It's an American state, larger than France and sharing a border with Mexico. Tejas.. Means friends or allies in one of the Native American tongues."
*Jeremy flipped the pan, it's contents arcing back into the pan's flat surface. Pulling a small mushroom from a pot of boiling water, running deep red with spices. He pops it onto a plate and slides it toward her.*
"Let me know if that's too spicy. I found the mushrooms soak up the spices really well so they become like little pockets of juicy heat."

Angelique took the fork and knife and cut a piece, placing it delicately in to her mouth, for a moment there was no reaction, swallowing she turned to the man with a smile "It's delicious, I mean really, it's not too spicy, not too mild, just right."
