Bonnie-Marie strode up the path toward her family's estate, clutching nothing more than her tiny blue suitcase and a thin cloak to shield her from the cold wind. She hadn't been to this house since she was a tiny baby - since before her "condition" had shown itself - and she was terrified. She had no idea if anyone she was related to even lived here anymore, so long had she been disconnected from them all.
Reaching the door, she extended a pale, shaking hand and knocked.

*Scarlett sat in her habitual window seat and rested her chin on her hand. She heard the knock at the door and hoped, without much conviction, that it wouldn't be anyone dreadfully dull.*

Bonnie-Marie waited a moment and, upon getting no response, sighed and tried again, feeling less up to this as every second passed.

*Philippe waved a hand at a servant before opening the door himself.*
"Yes?"

She didn't recognize him as the man who'd once saved her from rape in a dark alley, nor did she remember that her was her cousin. Drawing her cloak closer to herself protectively, she cleared her throat and said, "Bonjour. I'm so sorry to bother you, monsieur, but...uh, well, you see, my relatives lived here when I was a child. I'm not sure if they still do or not. De Chagny?"

((Totally forgotten then.))
*Philippe looked at her curiously,*
"I am Philippe De Chagny, I am afraid I do not recognise you."

((For the sake of this scene, I'm going to have her not remember her cousin's name. She'll remember Raoul, but not Philippe. Maybe they've never met or something.))
She shifted her hands nervously on the handle of her suitcase. "Oh, well at least I know that the de Chagnys still live here. My name is Bonnie-Marie de Chagny. I..." She trailed off. What else was there to say?

((That is what I was thinking. He is older so maybe was away.))
*Philippe sighed.*
"Well, you had better come in then."
*He moved away from the door.*

Bonnie-Marie breathed a small sigh of relief and stepped cautiously past Philippe into the foyer. She squinted; since she had become human, it took her eyes a lot longer to adjust to changes in the light.
She turned to Philippe. "Thank you, monsieur. You are most kind."

*Philippe shook his head.*
"It is of no matter, we seem to adopt all manner of relatives. My wife will be glad of the company."
*He smiled to himself.*

((Your wife doesn't even *talk* to me.))
*Scarlett rose and tripped to the door of the parlour to view the stranger. Another cousin? My my!
Pretty enough, Scarlett supposed, but a bit ragged. She swept forward in her best plantation belle manner.*
"Why Cousin Philippe, who might this be?"

((That is because he is far too busy sexing her. Did you hear about the GWTW musical?))

*Philippe turned.*
"Ah, Mrs Hamilton, this is Miss De Chagny. She is another cousin of mine."
*The house was overrun with women.*

Bonnie-Marie curtseyed to Scarlett. "Bonjour, mam'selle. I am Bonnie-Marie de Chagny. Your--" She stopped mid-sentence. Her what? Was this Philippe's wife? It didn't seem that way. But what was she? It was a moment before Bonnie-Marie realizied she was gaping stupidly as she thought. "Um. Monsieur de Chagny has been so kind as to invite me in."

((No, I haven't. That just sounds wrong.
And Mandy? You did hear him say Mrs. Hamilton, right?))
*Scarlett curtsied.*
"Ah'm a newcomer myself," *she said, but indicated the parlour.* "Ah'm sure you're tired after your journey."
